that night when they walked in the doors of the tall males home, they didn't talk about whether they were going there be official. or if the other was going to at least give him a better chance.

jeongguk was to happy from the feeling of not being alone to bring it up. he finally felt as if his mansion was a home, he was not about to ruin it. not even if it meant potentially having the shorter brunette male as his.

naomi was watching tv with jeongguk and a bowl of dry cereal that the two were sharing, taking care not to spill on her new uniform. the cartoon drowning out the sound of munching and crunching. somewhere in the midst of that beautiful moment, she wanted to color so she scooted to the floor, sitting inbetween jeongguk's legs, and pulled out some crayons and a book to color with.

"ggukie look! i made a princess and a knight. that's you and that's me!"
the older male smiled at her and used his fingers to play in her hair. she sat and admired it some more before ripping it out and giving it to the older who happily took it.

taehyung was in the kitchen with hyunseung packing naomi's lunch, a simple turkey sandwich and some kimchi. taehyung walked around into the living room with the baby propped up on his hips to put her lunch into her back pack that was sitting on the couch. tae grabbed the remote and shut in the large screen tv making both people turn back and look at him, snapping out of their trance.

"dada! me and ggukie were watching it..."
naomi pouted and looked at jeongguk who just nodded at the little girl in agreement.

"we'll you and ggukie should be heading off to school if you don't want to be late, right?" taehyung gestured to the clock. both naomi and jeongguk jumped up and went over to grab their shoes. naomi ran up to hug her dada and younger brother on last time. "thank you thank you thank you dada, muah! bye bye hyunie, noona will be back very soon!"

jeongguk went into the kitchen to pin up the picture on the fridge and was about to walk pass taehyung when the younger grabbed his arm.

"aren't you forgetting something?"
the male stopped and thought before pulling them in for a hug and planting a small kiss on the shortest head. taehyung blushed at this but shook his head, trying his best to suppress it. "i was talking about your bag jeongguk, but that works too i guess."

"ohh shoot, thanks for reminding me."
nai was standing at the door trying to be patient but he nerves were making it hard. "ggukie~"

"okay okay, goodbye."

"bye. see you later."

jeongguk drive naomi to school and let her sit in the front seat. it wasn't like many people were going to notice and he was a quite careful driver. her leg started bouncing with anticipation as soon as they pulled off 15 minutes ago. they were driving in a comfortable silence then naomi started humming a song while stretching to look out the window, out to the road. jeongguk noticed the song was 'Dun Dun Dance' and turned it on.

"you know that song?"
jeongguk scoffed and smiled. "know it? nai i love it."

"wahh~ you're so cool! but i only hang out with cool people so i knew that already."
both fans started screaming out the lyrics to the song inbetween fits of laughter. then the older pulled into the carpool line of the elementary school. he turned down the music and kept driving up whenever a car would leave after dropping of their kid. as the line was quite long, there were teachers getting the kids out of the cars so they had to wait.

"you ready?"
she shook her head violently, tears turning up in her eyes. when the tear fell the elders hand was quick to wipe it off.

"what's wrong, i though you were excited?"

"i am but- ggukie what if i don't fit in? what if i'm not smart enough? or what if i make no friends? it's really scary..."

"naomi you are one of the smartest young girls i know, and i need you to know that no matter what happens you have your dada and hyunseung, okay? you're going to fit in just fine and make lots of friends. I want you to tell me all about them when I get home."
naomi nodded and put her hands on jeongguk's, whose hands were still wiping the falling tears.

"and you."

"huh?"

"i have you... a princess needs a knight."
gguk smiled and laughed shuffling her curled hair with his fingers. "yes you have me, you will always have me with my sword and armor right behind you."

"ggukie! my hair, papa spent a lot of time doing it this morning."
then a teacher came up and knocked on the window to take naomi. the younger's face brightened and hurriedly got out of the car walking with the teacher after getting a name tag. he watched her walk in and was about to drive off when he heard someone yell his name. he looked back and saw naomi making a heart at him with her arms as her teacher walked with the other kids and he waved at her to go on with the rest of her class. she looked behind her and made a 'ooh' face then waved and ran away.

he sighed happily and drove the rest of the way to the gym humming 'Dun Dun Dance'.

just dance... just dance...
