Primal Outcasts

Prologue

A war is brewing between many clans... Animals, Mythical, Arthropod and Reptiles. Each side of the war had its Kings or Queens. The war went so long that each of the clans left their mighty kings/queens to make new lives and clans to be out of the way of the war. Now hundreds of years have passed.

Once there was a Mighty King by the name of Riyu who made a choice that could change the world one day.... Little he did know...

A tall, smart, strong, and fierce Dragon who's the king of a peaceful kingdom. After his Father passed away and took his place, he did everything he could to not disappoint him or his people. He became quite beloved by everyone and became a fierce commander and king to make sure everyone around him was safe. However he still has something to deal with in these times and one of them is dealing with a War between both animals and Dreaded Mythical Creatures little did he know that on one of these sides, one of them would become an ally.. or rather, someone to take care of....

Riyu is leading his army with General Bruno the Grizzly Bear to fight against the Mythical army of Orc, Oni, Unicorns, Werewolves, Trolls, Chimeras, and more. Riyu wanted to prevent the fighting but they started it and he had no choice but to drive them away with as few casualties as possible to hope to make peace.

"My lord, there is a fortress that seems to be a place for the Mythical army but seems to be abandoned after we attempt to push them away. We should go check out to see if we can find anything for our needs." Bruno said as he pointed in the direction of the abandoned place. "Abandoned? Mmm, it seems like it was an act as one of the bases for them to use. Alright then. I'll go with your groups. We also must check on survivors as well!" Riyu said "Yes, my lord. Boys, you heard him!" Bruno said as he led the soldiers to the abandoned place.

The king and his guards went toward the abandoned fortress and when they arrived, it was destroyed inside, claw marks and blood splattered everywhere... and what's weird is... there are no bodies anywhere... as if they had been wiped from existence.

"I have a bad feeling about this place... there is blood everywhere and there are no bodies, my king, as if they vanished..." Bruno said as he slowly looked around the place. "Whatever happened, it may be our new enemies if we're not responsible for this." Riyu said as he looked around with concern, feeling sorry for the Mythical Clan on whatever fate they experienced before death or worse. "Probably, sir but there are good supplies we may need for your kingdom." Bruno said.

"Agreed. Find anyth-" Riyu Got interrupted by the sounds as if someone or something was bumped and shattered on the floor. "What was that?! Who goes there?!" Bruno said as he growled a bit and grabbed his axe.

"Be on your guard but do not rush!" Riyu shouted. Then for a brief moment, there is a small figure running around the halls covered in a cloak as the king and his soldiers follow the noises

The guards went ahead as Riyu stopped for a moment as if he could sense something like if he knew where that mysterious guy went too, since he could feel the flow of the place.

Riyu slowly turned and walked to a room, that seemed a meeting room of some sort, with a half-broken table in the middle as if it's melted a bit

"Hello? Riyu said as he saw a small figure in a rugged cloak under the table. "Hey there don't worry I won't hurt you, whoever you are..." He gently expressed his hand and reached in slowly as he pulled the cloak off the person, only to reveal it was a child, a chimera, shivering a bit.

"It's a... Child. and a chimera at that. There... There... come out little guy, I won't hurt you." Riyu said softly as he tried not to impose any threat on the child. But suddenly the kid just freaked out and kicked him in the chin by mistake as he ran to the room where General Bruno happened to be. "Wait no! Come back!" Riyu shouted.

"There you are!" Bruno said as he gasped when he saw who the kid was. "You're the enemy!" Bruno shouted as he lifted his ax and was about to swing his blade at the kid the kid gasped as he covered his head closed his eyes and froze right in the danger zone.

Then with an angry expression, without turning his back, Riyu grabbed the ax by the blade with his bare hand, bleeding a bit of blood. and then turned around his head to the General and menacingly spoke one word. "No." Riyu said as he used a bit of strength he crushed the ax in pieces.

The chimera child opened his eyes and saw what happened he gasped and whimpered a bit more as he saw blood dripping from the dragon's hand.
  
Bruno shuttered at the sight of the angry Dragon King. "B-but my lord... that's the chimera, Our enemy! From the Mythical clan!" Bruno said as he dropped his crushed ax, making a clanging noise as it dropped on the ground.

Riyu turns around to the General and grabs him by the collar. "What have I told you about hurting innocent people? I've said several times that I won't resort to violence even if it's the life of someone dangerous. Do you realize you were about to kill a defenseless child?" Riyu said with a very enraged expression.

"Y-yes! Forgive me! I was just trying to protect you! I'm sorry, my lord!" Bruno said as he begged for his forgiveness.

"Hmmph," Riyu said as he let him go and signed. "I've done it again... now then..." Riyu said as he kneeled to the child's point of view. "No worries, child. He didn't mean to do that, nor would I ever let him do that..." Riyu said softly as he could see the child was still expressing fear.

"Hey, don't worry. I won't hurt you. See?" Riyu said as he showed his hand wound from the blade he caught. "This wound was to protect you just now."

The child looked at the bleeding hand. "T-thanks sir." The chimera kid said as he slowly reached out and grabbed a finger, then suddenly Riyu's hand was overlapped by some sort of dark aura but then the aura faded, healing the hand but leaving the scar.

"Oh?" Riyu said as he looked at his hand, which was not bleeding anymore. "This is curious. What's your name, little one?"

"M-my name? My name is... I don't... I don't remember. I dunno why... Suddenly the child passed out in the Dragon King's arms as his healing overwhelmed him."

"Whoa, I gotcha!" Riyu shouted with concern as he caught him and held him up. "I think in my best interest of me and this child, I'll take him as my son. He had been alone for some time."

"Wait... You mean? Adopt him? But sir!" Bruno said. Riyu snorted a bit, looking angry again at the general. "May I have to remind you yet again, General?"

Bruno shook his head side and backed up a bit. "N-no, sir. I'm with you. No need to remind me, sir. I'm sorry! I'm saying the citizens may not accept him like you are now, my lord." Bruno said as he bowed down to his knees, not saying anything else since he angered the Dragon King twice already.

"No worries about it. I'll take care of him myself. and I shall think of a day where I shall announce his presence and make sure they're respectful towards him too. And don't worry... enemies or not, he is still a kid, I will teach him our ways as well, right and wrong." Riyu said as he looked at the sleeping kid in his arms. "Mmmmm ... .you're a little cuddly too as if you're a teddy bear... I'll name you Kuma. Today you are now Kuma Kor under my name and protection.

My name is Kuma Kor. My father chose to raise me in his home, Nibel. This is my story.
