The White Lady

I was told of a terrifying tale that involved five people named Mia, Tike, Ryan, Shawn and Pria.

They were told that there was a place where no one had ever gone. No one went there because people said it was the scariest place in the world. Mia, Tike, Ryan, Shawn and Pria were not afraid and didn't believe the story about the ... (dramatic pause) WHITE PALACE.

To prove to other people that the story wasn't true, they planned to go there for one night. They grabbed food, note pads and cameras to take videos with.

They reached the White Palace and it was a cloudy night with a full moon. They went in and opened up their bags and put their stuff in the big basement. They went downstairs and it was creepy. There were webs and there was a light that was open. When they went to put their stuff down, the light turned off. They didn't really mind and they put their stuff on a small circular table. They took out their equipment and Ryan distributed it to the others. Pria went upstairs with a camera, note pad and 3 pens. Ryan stayed in the basement to look at the monitors that they had put up all around the house. Tike and Shawn went to the living room where there were lots of musical instruments. Mia was in the backyard with a bag of chips and a pen and a note pad.

A few moments later, Pria was starting to hear noises and she went towards it. When she was following the sound it got darker and darker. She went downstairs and took a flash light. She went back up stairs and took notes on her note pad. She followed the noise again and turned on the flashlight. She saw an open door and went inside it. The room was full of dead flowers and bad writing on the wall. She was reading it when she noticed something dark and skinny on the corner. It looked like a dark human wearing a white dress. It jumped at her and she started running. She quickly made her way to the living room and she tripped. The thing was following her and she kept going. When she got to the living room, Tike and Shawn weren't there. She saw different colors flashing from the basement. She followed it and she saw Tike, Shawn and Ryan playing music and eating the snacks. She told them what she saw and they didn't believe her. A few minutes later, she went back up stairs. She heard a loud noise in the basement where Ryan was. She went downstairs but didn't call Tike and Shawn. When she went downstairs, she saw Ryan running from the thing that she saw earlier. Ryan went to the washroom and she tried to help him. The ghost closed the door and she heard a frightening scream. It was ryan's weep of death.

She ran up to the living room and she got a call from Tike asking if everything was ok. She said no. She was panting because she was afraid. She went to Tike and Shawn and they asked her what happedned. She told them what she saw and more importantly, what happened to Ryan. They went to check up on Mia who was in the backyard. they were hoping she was ok. When they looked through the streamers, they saw that Mia wasn't there. They were nervouse and worried. They looked around the window and they couldn't see anything. They were about to go to the front door when the instruments started to play themselves and some would even be thrown to the ground.

They got scared and went to the backyard. The grabbed a tool at the side and looked around. They saw a moving bush and approached it. With Ryan's weapon ready to swing they saw Mia, dead on the ground.

Ryan said "The thing you were talking about must've killed her. We should get out of here". Just then, Pria looked behind them because she wanted to ask Tike if he could hand her the flashlight but Tike wasn't there. She tapped Ryan on the shoulder and Ryan looked back. Ryan was now scared and they now believe that there is a relentless entity killing people who disturbed the manner.

"Ryan! Look out behind you!" , Pria screamed. The white lady put her hand up and threw Ryan to a topiary. Pria went inside and the white lady was still following her. she tried to go to the front door but the instruments were hitting her. She fell to the ground and the white lady came and lifted her up.

"Never should you living stray to thy land of the dead. Unless you are willing then we are willing to be your guide." the lady said with a terrifying look on her face. Pria was thrown through the door and the ghost looked at her.

"You do not dwell on the land of all death and life. Only the dead can really live. You must be alive to proclaim to the other living about your presence in our territory. Tell them not to bring their souls her or we will bring them to our sacred land." After the ghost said that, Pria ran away from the house and told everyone to never explore that house because she has lost her friends and her belief of the dead being dead. But what I don't get is why she said that. I mean it's not that bad in here. Im alone in the White Palace and I do not dwell with the dead in their land yet. I see a flickering of a light at the end of the hall. So that's what the white lady looks like. Whit skinny and ... DEAD.
