26. SORROW AND SEPARATION.

Ajey's P.O.V:

-"Please yaar Rocky, maanja na! Trish ko bhi convince krlenge."
Said Mithika to Ritvik, trying to convince him.

Aakash Bhaiya's wedding was just 2 days away from now, and the pre-wedding rituals were already over. That means that we all had 2 complete days to ourselves, and we could wander around freely right now.

But it seems like the very outgoing and fun-loving Mithika and my whipped for her, brother Yash weren't liking the idea of staying home and just chilling in the garden of the Bhardwaj House near the bonfire.

And so here they both are, convincing all of us to spend a day out with them. Mithika wants to 'show' Lucknow to Yash. What an excuse to stay near each other, man!

-"Nhi Mithi, tum log jao, mera bilkul mann nhi hai, please."
Ritvik replied in a non-chalant manner.

-"Rockyyy yarrr, pleaseee!!"
Mithika showed him her puppy eyes.

-"Nhi toh nhi, Mithi. Don't force me."
Ritvik replied sternly.

This guy, I tell you is the most annoying of all creatures to exist! First he has to act like the most depressed and helpless soul to get close to Trish for the comfort and now he's creating a drama for no reason. Why can't he just agree to her?

-"Ritvik, let's not give them a hard time. If they want to go, let's accompany them. I'm sure it'll be fun!"
I said to Ritvik, trying to convince him.

-"Mr. Nagar, I think I have all rights to say no to her, she is my friend and I don't think I need anyone's suggestion in that matter.''
Ritvik mumbled to me sternly.

This man is lucky that he's Trishika's friend, or by now he would have been 10 feets under the ground.

-"As you wish."
I replied back in a cold voice as I felt quite disrespected by his behaviour.

Why is he so rude to me when according to Trish, he's her sweetest brother.

Why? What's the reason for him to be so different these days, if what she says is true?

-"Kya ho gaya, kyu ladai krr rhe ho?"
Trishika's voice broke my trance. She was talking to Mithika and Ritvik.

-"Trish, dekh na! Rocky isn't listening to me only. I want to show Ajey and Yash, Hazratganj and other places in the city but Rocky isn't ready for the day-out!''
Mithika said to Trishika, whining in annoyance.

-"Rocky,"

Trish looked at Ritvik with soft eyes and he initially looked back at her with a harsh gaze, but then they talked through eyes for a moment and a look of reassurance was visible in her eyes, and to my surprise, she convinced him just through her eyes! What's going on between them?

-"Alright, I'm ready to go."
Ritvik said getting up and Mithika jumped in excitement.

So the plan was to get ready and leave by 5 in the evening, we would move around on the roads of Hazratganj, the very famous and favourite place of Lucknow, as it was our main destination for tonight. And it was also decided that we would have our dinner out, at a place called Narayan's.

*2 hours later*

-"Oh God! Where are these animals lost, now? We're getting late!"
Mithika said impatiently, as she came out of her room.

Not even one single soul was here right now except for me and Mithika. All were busy getting ready, but she was the most impatient and excited one.

-"Chill Mithika! They'll be here in sometime."
I said with assurance.
