It was already late and the cold breeze of wind blowing through their foyer is not helping Leni fight the urge to snooze into a deep slumber. She has yet to finish studying the case that is due for hearing the following month. She sighed as she peeked on her almost empty cup of coffee – her second refill already. She was about to stand up to get another cup when she felt arms circling around her from the back .

"Pang ilan mo na 'yan?" Jesse asked as he kisses her shoulder.

"Kailangan ko tapusin. Next month na hearing." She replied seconds before she yawned.

Jesse leaned his left cheek on her shoulder to take a peek of her face while she looked sideways to look at him too. He cant help but linger on her features focusing on her smooth lips, and red shot tired eyes – probably because she's been up for a long time already. Nevertheless, she still never fails to amaze him effortlessly. He was too mesmerized that he didn't notice he was already staring for quite a while until she chuckled.

"Bakit?"

"Ganda mo" He teasingly smiled and held her hand.

"Sus. Bola"

Leni closed her eyes as she felt Jesse's lips linger on her temple. He slowly leaned more on her side so he can see more of her face while she adjusted to give him more access. Now they're upfront face to face, Jesse realized more how he admired this look of hers
– With eyeglasses and hair freely flowing.

"Kawawa naman 'tong misis kong maganda" He brought up her hand that he was holding and kissed the back of its palm.

"Ganda pa ng mata oh. Tingin nga?" He teased even more as he kisses her beautiful eyes.

Leni was never the kind to start affectionate conversations like this but she was always up to it when he starts one. So she teased back.

"Hmm masyado ka namang in love saakin." She said, grinning ear to ear.

It must've been the cold wind blowing into their skin, or the few shots of beer he had with colleagues before going home that had him feeling the need for something and so he kissed her.

The kiss lingered for a while until she felt him slowly increasing in intensity so she pulled away,  and smiled.

"Pa, may tatapusin pa ako." she murmured while their nose touch.

"Next month pa naman yan diba." He said wiggling his eye browse.
They both giggled knowing where this is going.

He helped her fix her things and they went inside to continue where they left off.
