Jungkook ran his hands through Jimin's hair. They were in Jin's guest room. When he passed out, they had panicked and Namjoon had called Hoseok. Jungkook had carried him to the bedroom and laid him on the bed.

When Hoseok checked him, he said he was going to be okay and would wake up soon. That was four hours ago. He wanted him to wake up but also sleep.  Jimin was tired, between his mum threatening him again and Areum's sickness he was just a ticking time bomb. He kissed Jimin's forehead and got out of bed heading out of the room. He went to the kitchen to get some water and was shocked to find Jin and Joon seated on the island talking.

Why are you guys still up? He asked them.
Couldn't sleep. How low can she really go? Knowing her I shouldn't be surprised but this is Jiminie we are talking about. When we met him, he was this bubbly person, so strong no matter what happened. He had gone through a lot before but Ha-rin destroyed the light that was still shining in him. Jin said wiping his tears.

Hyung, Jungkook said approaching them, I... Eomma was the one who killed your mum. I'm sorry I didn't tell you as soon as I found out. Jin rounded the island and approached him. He pulled him in for a hug. I'm sorry for what she did. I'd understand if you'd hate me. Jungkook whispered. He couldn't handle it if his brother hated him, his family.
I'd never hate you, Kook. Come sit with us. Jin led him to a stool next to Nanjoon. I've always known she hurt my mum but I never thought she killed her, Jin said sadly.

Yeah. Lee is about to make an arrest. He was filing paperwork today. I'm tired hyung, I just want to sit with my babies and just relax. I'm surprised she hasn't found out about Areum.
Dad's been keeping her occupied to even think of spying on you. Namjoon said patting his back. why don't you go to sleep Kook, be with Jimin. We have no idea how tomorrow will turn out.
Okay, hyung. Jungkook stood up, took a bottle of water from the fridge, and went back upstairs. Jimin was still asleep. He put the water on the nightstand and got in bed holding Jimin. Areum was safe with his other hyungs. All he had to do was take care of Jimin.

The following morning Jungkook was up first. Jimin was cuddled up to his chest. He tried to move but Jimin held him tighter.
Minie, you need to let go.
Don't wanna. Kookie is mine. Jimin mumbled sleepily. Jungkook chuckled.
I'm flattered baby but I have to use the bathroom. You need to wake up too. You haven't eaten since lunch yesterday.
Not hungry.
You have to eat. Get up then we'll call Areum. Jimin finally sat up.
Areum, is she okay? Did you check in on her with Taetae?
I did baby, relax. She's fine just tired like Hoseok said. They going for another session at 10 am.
Oh. Can we go see her? Jimin asked as he got out of bed. Jungkook just stared at him.
Do you remember what happened yesterday baby?
Of course. Jimin said with a chuckle, You said Areum had to stay with Taetae for her safety.
And after that. Jungkook approached him. Jimin scrunched his nose.

We got in the car and I think I slept. Did something happen? He asked innocently. Jungkook was lost for words. He shook his head, Jimin was protecting himself the only way he knew how. He suppressed his memories. Jungkook wanted to scream and yell at his mum to hell and back. His Jimin was hurt yet again.
Come on. Let's brush our teeth then breakfast.
Okay. Are you okay? Jimin asked as they entered the bathroom.

We are going to be fine. Jimin took his hand and kissed the back of it. He just nodded his head.

When they made their way downstairs, they found Jin, Joon, and Hoseok seated at the dinner table.
Morning hyungs. He greeted as he helped Jimin to his seat. Jin had made a Western breakfast so he served Jimin pancakes and bacon and some vegetables. He just ate pancakes. The table was silent apart from the utensils. They finished and a househelp took the plates away and served coffee.
How are you feeling Minie? Hoseok asked.
I'm great.
Not feeling anxious? You passed out last night and didn't come to till this morning.
Uh hyung...
What do you mean passed out? Everyone got silent and turned to look at Jungkook.
He doesn't remember anything after you guys left.
Not good, Joon said.

Uh, Minie looks like you are suppressing your memories, Hobi said and Jimin shook his head. Yes, you are. This happens a lot when one is in trauma.

You didn't pass out because you met her Minie, Jin explained. Jungkook told us last night that his mum sent someone to kill you at the house.
Oh. Jimin stood up and staggered to the kitchen. Jungkook was right behind him ready to catch him if he fell. He was mumbling something he couldn't make out. He opened drawers searching for something. He felt heartbroken seeing Jimin like this.

Jungkook get him. Jin suddenly shouted holding a phone to his ear making him jump and pull Jimin back. He stared in horror at what Jimin was holding. A knife. He tried to pry it from his hands. Jimin held the knife tightly.
Baby please let go.
I... I n-ee-need to feel pain. F-e-feel numb.
It's okay baby. I got you, just let go Minie. Look at me. He turned Jimin to him. Focus on me, baby. Jimin's eyes were hazy. Please Minie. I need you. Breathe with me. In and out. He took Jimin's free hand and placed it on his chest. In and out. That's it. He kept on encouraging him until he let go of the knife.

Jin took it away and Jimin leaned on Jungkook's chest breaking down. Jungkook looked up when he felt hands surround them. His hyungs were hugging them.
It's okay Minie. It's okay not to be okay. Jin whispered to Jimin.
She hurt me hyung, she hurt me so bad, Jimin said still sobbing.
I'm sorry bubs. We're here for you.
Tired.
Go to sleep, baby. We'll be right here when you wake up. Jungkook felt him go limp.
