May sat up in bed. She had her own queen bed in the palace, she refused to share a bed with Robert, she also refused to take his last name. They were both aware this wouldn't last forever, but they weren't sure how they felt about their relationship. Luckily the you know what, went right and nothing bad came out of it.
For a while Robert had been thinking of trying to live their own lives in a way that no one would find out about. But he just couldn't grasp a solution. He tells May that he thinks they should try to create a secret life, and May had never thought about still being able to have another relationship with someone while pretending to be in love with someone else. "Wow" she exclaimed " that's absolutely incredible but is it still called cheating if the other person knows? And they're doing the same thing?" Robert thought about it and then said "Well repeat that in your head. If I know and you know but no one else knows then it's fine. Am I not correct?"
