"Mister!"
"Sunghoon!"The giddy shrieks of admiration coming from three young women finally drew Sunghoon's attention, and the seasoned war hero winked at girls, making them squeal even louder than before.
"Oh, he's so cute!"
Sunghoon did not stay long to flirt with the women, however- and continued on his path to soon-to-be fiancé (as if Jisung would agree to marry Sunghoon- ew, no). Changbin stopped by the ladies for a hot second- and took the chance to smirk in their direction and flex his biceps. Though vertically challenged, he was quite buff- and the girls swooned over him instead. As Sunghoon and Changbin made their way through the bustling village in pursuit of Jisung, snippets of conversation filled the air.
"Hello!"
"Good day!"
"You call this bacon?"
What lovely grapes!"
"How's your family?"
"Please let me through.."
"This bread- it's stale!"
"I think you're mistaken.."yeah you get it
"Wait- there he is!" As soon as Sunghoon spotted Jisung he pushed his way through the throng of people, trying to catch the boy's attention. However, it seemed as though the whole town was plotting against him, as they seemingly blocked his path wherever he stepped, blocking Jisung from his sight.
Jisung- now making his way back home- was once again surrounded by hushed whispers (and some not-so-quiet remarks) of townsfolk who passed him.
"Look, there he goes, that boy is strange but special."
"A most peculiar gentleman.."
"It's a pity and a sin- that he doesn't quite fit in."
"'Cause he really is a funny one, that Jisung."°°°
Jisung slowly made his way up the tall, grassy hill his house resided on. It was a small cottage- definitely not a sprawling mansion to say the least- but it was what he and his father called home. I can't even remember when we moved here! I've lived here basically my whole life- I know everyone here like the back of my hand. Too bad there aren't any hotties here, though. I could totally use a man.
Before Jisung could continue this string of thoughts, he had already arrived at his front door. Jisung twisted the knob of the door and walked inside to see his father diligently working on another painting.
"Whatcha painting this time, dad?"
"Not now Jisung, I'm working on a painting."
"I-"
Jisung huffed and plopped his book on a nearby chair.
The sudden noise snapped Jisung's father out of his work-induced trance.
"Jisung! I'm so sorry- I've been really focused on this piece as I've been invited to show it at an art showcase out of town."
Jisung shook his head. "It's okay, dad. Good luck!"
"In fact- it's done!" Jisung's father proudly displayed a beautiful landscape of a field of lavender.
Jisung smiled, admiring the painting. "It looks great! Now hurry, or else your slow butt is gonna be late!"
Jisung waved his dad out the door and shut it with a content sigh- only to open it again upon hearing a knock.
"Hi, Jisung," Sunghoon smirked.
