The Silent One

Chapter 3

After walking for a while, they came across a large mansion. There were three guys out front with a tall man in a suit with no face. Hope recognized the three males as the ones who tried to kill her when she was in the forest after she killed her bullies. All four of them turned towards her and the tall one put his hand out for Hope to shake. "It's nice to finally talk to you in person. I'm Slenderman." Hope was very cautious to shake his hand but quickly did and pulled her hand back.

"Why don't we talk in my office where its more private." Hope slowly nodded making sure that her phone was on and in the contacts app so she could call Zalgo or someone else if she needed to. Slenderman led Hope to his office and had her sit in a chair across from him. "So, you're a special and interesting human to us Creepypasta's. I have many questions for you." "I'm willing to answer your questions if you answer mine, deal?" Slenderman nodded and gestured for Hope to ask her questions first.

"First of all, why am I so special?" "That's because you were able to escape, injure, and befriend dangerous and violent immortal killers." Hope nodded. "Alright, why did you want to meet me?" "Well, like I said, you escaped, injured, and befriended some of us Creepypasta's, and some of the Creepypasta's you escaped and Injured are from my very own team." "I'm assuming that's a big deal?" "Yes, no one has been able to do that, you injured my proxies and got away, and even some Creepypastas that aren't on my team can't do that."

There was a knock on the door and a male, who Hope assumed to be one of Slenderman's proxies, opened the door a bit, he was twitching a lot. "Uhm, Sir? Zalgo sent Rake over to send a message to you, and Rake won't leave until he's told you the message directly. He's outside with the other two right now."

Slenderman stood up and turned to Hope. "I will be back in a moment. It's best if you stay here for now." Hope also stood up. "If Zalgo sent Rake over, it's most likely because of me." Slenderman paused at this. "Fair point, alright, you can come with me, but this meeting isn't over yet."

Hope nodded and followed Slenderman and his proxy to the front of the mansion. When they got to the front, Hope saw Rake waiting by the gate that surrounds the mansion. When Rake saw her, he relaxed and asked if she was ok. "I'm fine. Me and Slenderman are just having a meeting." Rake hesitated and then nodded. "Zalgo thought he might've kidnapped you to get leverage on him or something, but if you're fine and are just talking casually, then we don't have a problem." "When I first got here, I made sure that if something went wrong, I could call one of you."

Hope showed him her phone that was still in the contacts. She smiled and hugged Rake. "Alright, go tell Zalgo I'm fine. See ya later." Rake nodded then left. When Hope turned around, she saw Slenderman and his proxies looking at her. "What?" Hope just smiled and shook her head. Slenderman and Hope went back to his office and sat down again.

"Alright, last question. Why haven't you killed me yet?" Slenderman paused at this. "well, I think you would be a good Creepypasta, you have great potential." Hope raised an eyebrow at this. "With all due respect sir, you do realize that if I were to become a Creepypasta, I would be on Zalgo's team right? That or I would be on my own team." "Yes, I have thought about that, but I still wanted to propose the idea." "And I highly respect that-"

All of a sudden a girl with long brown hair, green eyes, a pink dress with mud and blood on it, a teddy bear, and blood dripping from her head came in. "Dad, come play with me! Lj's too busy, Ben is messing with someone, and no one else will." She must've just seen Hope because she then perked up at the sight of her.

"oh! Pretty lady, do you want to play with me?" Slenderman sighed. "Sally, me and Hope here are having a very important meeting. I'll play with you when we finish, ok?" The girl, Sally, pouted, crossing her arms. "But I want to play now!" "We'll play later, and that's final. Go to your room and play with Charlie for now." Sally pouted more, but nodded. "Fine." She then left the room, giving a small wave to Hope.
