Freedom.
Is it too much to ask?
Seeing the white walls surrounding me.
This is my only wish.
And I knew, I can't ever achieve it.
My boundless curiosity of mine will never be satisfied.
But, I clung to this, hopeless hope, that maybe I somehow, can see what the world was like.
Beyond these white walls.
Is a colorful world, that I never saw, a joyful world buried with lies.
Famine, wars, human trafficking, black markets, terrorist, murders, psychopaths.
This colorful world had darkness beneath it,
And I witness it, right before my eyes.
Maybe, just maybe, this is might not be that bad, ain't it.

I woke up and saw the usual white ceiling that I stare at every morning
Hearing the loud morning roll call, I reluctantly sat up from the bed and walk out at the metal door that opened at the same time the loudspeaker rang
Walking out of my cell, I saw the usual white hallway with tons of metal doors on its sides, and other people wearing white gowns coming out of them
Some are bloodied, some are injured, some are just gone, one door, in particular, was just open, and no person came out of it
Guards with high-quality armor and specialized weapons are in here walking back and forth monitoring our moves
"Move on to Sector A, your daily morning assessment is proceeding, any harsh and sudden movements were not advised and will be punished accordingly"
The speaker rang as the guards told us to face sideways and walk
All of us cooperate and moved, while walking we passed by the certain open door, glancing at it on the way, I saw the student, she was a woman, with green hair up to her waist and she was dead while laying on the pool of her blood
I feel no remorse for her but the other student who witness her dead body was shaking, another one is gone, is that what would happen to me, this thought what was running inside their head
Even though this is already a daily occurrence for us, they still feel shaken seeing a dead body
"Experiment number 4-36 is dead, death by blood loss and inner injuries, other unoccupied personal clean cell number 186"
The speaker sounded throughout the white walls, looking back, I saw 4 people wearing white hazmat suits got inside according to the cell number that the speaker rang
Sighing, I look back in front of me and counted the people left
'5 huh'
