Food, check! Outfit, check! The sofa, neat! My face, handsome as always! Great, I'm ready.

"Wait, the battery...", I check the battery icon on the right-hand side of the menu bar on my MacBook Pro. "Hundred percent, nice.", I sigh in relief as I sit down comfortably on my black leather sofa in the living room.

I fix the placement of my tray of dinner meals to be in front of the laptop and place the big baby pink pillow that Chaeyoung gifted me behind me while the round shaped white throw pillow with Chaeyoung's face printed on it is in my hands. Yes, I hold it most of the times especially when I sleep. I promise her I will keep her close to my heart no matter how far apart we are in real time so...yeah, I have her face on the pillow to hug.

After logging in, I finally see her on my laptop screen.

"Hey..", she smiles when she notices the pillow I am holding tight in my arms. "Jungkook, I'm here. You can put the pillow away, you know?", she tells me as she tries to sound serious about it.

I know she is annoyed just by the way she calls me by my name. Chaeyoung hates it when I hug the pillow during our video call. She says that she looks weird in the picture while I have a different opinion about it. I like the picture because I took it a few years ago when we were out to the theme park and she was pouting at me at that time. Chaeyoung did not expect me to have the picture till now so she tends to get embarrassed seeing it on the pillow. I mean, who would have his lover's picture printed on a pillow except for me? That is just one of the many things that I do to show her that I really love her and I know she actually likes it as Lisa had told me by accident before this.

"Hey, baby love.", I smile before I put the pillow just enough to be out of the screen. "Good morning, my beautiful girlfriend.", I say as I look at the whole screen to see a different background of her surrounding.

"Good night, my baby boo.", she replies to me with a smile. I know she will melt when I call her with many nicknames that I have made for her. Since we became official that day she was leaving for the States, I make sure to not call her 'babe' anymore. She deserves more than that and I am so happy she decides to make me her 'baby boo'. Call me crazy but yes, I am crazy in love with Park Chaeyoung.

It has been a routine for us to have a video call everyday even for just a few minutes to check on each other but after three months since Chaeyoung went to New York, we had to fix the schedule as we both got busier with our own careers. At first, I disagreed with it as I cannot not see her for a day and we did not talked for hours because of it. It was our first argument as lovers and Chaeyoung really made it hard for me that day.

She ignored my texts, voice notes, phone calls...everything literally. I had to make a call to the company branch she worked at just to apologise to her. Luckily she cannot be mad at me for too long and I finally agreed to a new schedule of our video call.

"Let's set a time, one time for us to do this, Jungkook."

"Hm, okay. Once everyday?"

"I...am not sure if I can commit with that schedule, boo."

"Then, how about four times a week?"

"Twice a week?"

"No...that's too little."

"But I prefer that. Twice a week, on weekends. That's when I'm really free and I'm all yours, Jungkook."

"Hmmm......fine. I guess that works best for us. At least, for now."

And that is how we end up having video call on weekends with 13 hours difference, 9 in the night in South Korea while it is 8 in the morning in New York right now.
