I felt cringey doing all this but nick likes when I do cringey-romantic stuff like this. First I made a rosepetel pathway to our bedroom, candles around the pathway and in the bedroom the pathway led into a petal circle for me to propose in. Nick texted me and said he was leaving the local cafe to come home, so I quickly lit all the candles, dimmed the lights and set up the phone to get the proposal on record. I nearly forgot to place a bottle of lube on the bedside table
Nick's pov
When I walked past the cafe I made sure to text charlie to say I was setting off from the cafe. As I walked up to the building I saw that the light were off and candles were lit in our flat. Why did charlie light candles at 12 in the afternoon? I went to our room to see what in the world he was doing and
