Zayn and Louis' lunch lasts for about an hour. But when it does end, Zayn is quick about dismissing himself. Not because he's ready to leave Louis. But because he doesn't want to end up some place where they are inside for a long time and force him to have to remove his sunglasses.

After Louis sees to it that Zayn is safely in his car, he decides he'll walk downtown a little more and browse one of the shops he drove past earlier. It's Septemeber and it's still warm right now but they're already selling winter hoodies. Usually he doesn't shop downtown but he figures since he's here, he'd better at least give them a look. He might find one he'll want to wear this winter.

He steps inside and begins to look at the hoodies to the left near the display window. There are a lot of bright golden colored ones. But it's not his taste. He has never been a flashy person when it comes to casual wear. So he turns to look at the black ones that are behind him. But as he does, he sees a man quickly dart down behind a rack of shirts.

He pauses for a moment. Why would that man hide when he turned around? And was he hiding from him?

Deciding to ignore it, he continues on and browses some more and finds a black hoodie that says "Next Gen" and it's written in cool font. So he removes it from the rack and holds it up. Naturally his eyes gravitate a bit in the distance and he realizes the same man is looking at him again but has just quickly looked away and pretended to be looking at the shirts again.

Now he knows that man is watching him. But why?

Taking that as a sign that he should leave, Louis exits the store. But he doesn't go straight to his car. Instead, he walks past it to the end of the block and turns left at the corner, glancing back quickly to see if the man had also come out of the store.

He did.

It's official. He's not only being watched. He's being followed. He quickly darts behind the wall and waits just out of sight up against the brick wall of a coffee shop. While he waits, he pulls out his keys, closes his hand around them and leaves a couple keys pushed straight out between his fingers.

As soon a the man rounds the corner, Louis reaches out and grabs him and throws him back against the wall.

"Ow!"

"Why are you following me?" He says through gritted teeth and he holds the keys at his neck.

"Please stop. Don't."

"Why?! What do you want?"

"Not you! I promise. It's Mr. Styles I want. Don't hurt me!"

But that doesn't settle Louis. It only makes him angrier. "Why do you want Zayn for? Huh? Was it you, motherfucker? Was it you who stabbed him two years ago?"

"What? No. I-I didn't stab anybody."

"Then why do you want Zayn, huh? Why do you care about my friend?"

"I don't want Zayn. I want Harry. His husband."

At that, Louis pauses and looks into his brown eyes.

"Who are you?" He asks.

"My name is Liam Payne. I knew Harry because him and his agency once hired me to work for a company."

Louis looks hesitant.

"I swear. You can even check my wallet."

Louis still holds his keys at his neck.

"No. You take out your own wallet. And if it's anything other than a wallet, I'll scream so loud the police inside that coffee shop will come running out and arrest the person you really are."
