one week later - friday
Time skip - 8:30 AM (before school)
Ever since the day Chaeyeong had yelled at Eunji, she has been trying to avoid Taehyun. She for sure sees Eunji everyday in physics, but she did not talk to her as well. Chaeyeong tried to avoid Taehyun everywhere she went. If she ever saw him, she turned the other way and had to reroute her walking path.
He hates me. He told me specifically to treat her kindly and I treated her like bullshit, Chaeyeong still thought to this day. She was shaking her leg in fear on the wooden bench. She blew her chance with her crush.
"Chaeyeong if you don't stop shaking your leg, the luck will shake outta you," Jihoon said as he tapped Chaeyeong on the shoulder unexpectedly.
"What?" Chaeyeong asked confused, but Jihoon just chuckled.
"Keep shaking your leg, Taehyun won't like you back," Jihoon said again. Chaeyeong scoffed and tried to just talk to Jihoon about something else to get her mind off Taehyun and Eunji.
Time skip - 8:45 AM (passing time - 1st period)
Chaeyeong said goodbye to Jihoon as she walked away to go to astronomy. Chaeyeong was still outside, but before she entered the school, she saw 2 shadow figures next to the door she was about to enter. Chaeyeong hid behind the wall where she was supposed to turn into. She eavesdropped.
"I like you, okay?!"
Chaeyeong looked over the wall. Who could have confessed their feelings this early in the morning,? Chaeyeong thought. Chaeyeong felt her world drop down on her. Her heart shattered in many pieces. Chaeyeong felt tears fill her eyes, no one can save her. No one will save her. I want that relationship, the man she is kissing, everything about that scene. I just need somebody to kiss, Chaeyeong thought.
Chaeyeong wiped her tears and entered the building and walked to her first period. Trying to forget what had just happened.
8:50 AM (astronomy)
Chaeyeong wanted to go home so bad and just cry on her bed, but she couldn't. I wish mother wouldn't have cared so much about my school. She isn't even here half of my life, Chaeyeong thought.
Chaeyeong felt her heart ache as she was writing down notes. I want one good honest kiss, and maybe my feelings will be alright, Chaeyeong thought. She was thinking to stop liking Taehyun as a crush. But, everything she is imagining and thinking about, revolves around Taehyun.
Chaeyeong thought to herself, Am I that ugly? Am I that dumb? Why aren't I perfect like Eunji? What does Taehyun even see in Eunji?! Why can't he like me instead..
