So it goes.Yunjin leaves that Friday afternoon slightly disappointed that Sullyoon wouldn't give her a tour of her gallery, stating she's tired - which Yunjin knows isn't just a lame excuse as she was quite tired herself. So she lets it go, demanding to see Sullyoon's work some other time. She's aware that if she actually wants to see Sullyoon's work, she'll have to stop by some day other than Friday, because it's clear they can't keep their hands off each other.
So on Monday, Yunjin tries her luck and rides her motorcycle to Sullyoon's gallery straight after work. But all the lights are off and it's clear that Sullyoon's not there. As she drives home, she realises that Sullyoon's gallery is right between her apartment and work, just a different route. And whether that's convenient or a problem, Yunjin decides not to focus on.
On Wednesday she tries again, this time the lights are on and she sees people eyeing the paintings by the window. She stops her motorcycle right in front of the gallery and takes off her helmet, still peeking through the window as she builds the courage to go inside.
As she takes a deep breath, she catches the sight of Sullyoon. Beautiful, radiant Sullyoon, wearing simple light-blue jeans and a white T-shirt. Yunjin watches Sullyoon approach an elderly couple looking at a painting and proceed to talk excitedly about it.
Yunjin is in awe.
She decides that the people in would be enough of a reminder that they were supposed to act as strangers. Today Yunjin is simply a woman who loves art that happened to pass Sullyoon's gallery.
Another deep breath and Yunjin gets off her bike and confidently marches inside the gallery.
Quickly looking around, she sees Sullyoon leaving the couple to approach the two cute girls who look about her age and greet her like they're friends. So Yunjin decides against approaching Sullyoon.
Instead she focuses on the art, which she had came to see in the first place. (Except that she would've liked to hear Sullyoon's soft voice explain each piece.)
Soon she is completely immersed in the abundance of colour in one piece and the elegant shadowing of another. Sullyoon's talent is evident and suddenly Yunjin appreciates her fingers so much more.
After a while of admiring - Yunjin had lost track of time - she somehow feels Sullyoon's presence before she could even say anything.
Yunjin turns to her, eyes wide and filled with awe and she doesn't mind the sexy, proud grin Sullyoon gives her.
"See anything you like?" Sullyoon asks in a voice that sends shivers down Yunjin's spine and makes her wish that it was just the two of them alone in that room so she could show Sullyoon just how much she liked what she was seeing.
But she simply nods and looks back at the black and white painting of a forest scene surrounded by the night sky. "This is incredible, Sullyoon."
Sullyoon blushes but Yunjin, being too focused on the painting, doesn't catch it. "Thank you."
A moment of silence falls between them and Sullyoon subtly looks around to make sure no one is within earshot. She lowers her voice when she asks, "What are you doing here?"
Yunjin turns to her again, head tilted to the side in that way she does. "I said I wanted to see your art, Sullyoon."
"Yeah, I know, but I didn't think you'd actually stop by so soon. I thought I would show you on Friday?"
Yunjin scoffs, "We both know it would probably end like last Friday."
Sullyoon laughs, short and sweet, and Yunjin notice her eyes flash at the reminder of last Friday. But she also notices her looking around a little nervous and Yunjin thinks she maybe shouldn't have infiltrated Sullyoon's territory like this.
