~Aliyah's POV
School was miserable. I could barely keep my eyes open. It was sooo worth kickin' it with Prod though.
We decided to do it again today, but earlier. He agreed to pick me up at six.
I got home, and changed into loungewear.
"How was school?" Al asked, setting a plate of fresh fruit on the table.
"Good." I replied, popping a grape into my mouth.
I walked downstairs to see if Jacob was here.
He was in the shower.
I decided to clean his room up a bit, since I still am the maid.
I started cleaning his desk when his phone vibrated.
"Should I answer?" I thought to myself.
I was, of course, still pissed off at him. But is going that far really necessary?
I grabbed the phone and read the Caller ID. Yasmine, interesting.
"Hello?" I said in my fakest white girl voice.
"WHAT? WHO IS THIS?" she yelled.
I hung up the phone and ran upstairs before cracking the hell up.
Yeah, that's not gonna be good.
~Jacob's POV
I hopped out of the shower, and dried off.
My phone vibrated, and I grabbed it, seeing that Yasmine texted me. I opened the text, and my heart dropped.
'That's IT! I'M DONE. WE ARE OVER.' The text read.
What the hell?!
'Why? What did I do?' I typed back.
I ran my fingers through my afro, trying to think.
Fuck it, if it's over, then it's over.
I checked her facebook to confirm it.
Yep, 'No Longer In A Relationship'. It's official.
I threw on sweats, and went upstairs.
As soon as I hit the kitchen, Aliyah started laughing.
"The fuck wrong with you?" I asked, giving her a stank look.
She just kept laughing, and I walked right past her, grabbing a juicebox out of the fridge.
"Nigga, those are for Stacy." She said, trying to catch her breath.
"Do I care? No." I spat, trying to poke the straw into the box.
"Damn." I mumbled to myself.
Aliyah walked over to where I was, and took the juice out of my hand.
"Idiot." She laughed.
She poked the straw through, and gave it back. I gave a sarcastic laugh, and sipped my juice.
It was awkward. We were just, standing there.
I grabbed my phone, and played ' Deuces.' By Chris Brown.
"Aye, I like that song." Aliyah said quietly.
"Me too." I agreed.
We sat there and just listened to the lyrics.
All that bullshit's for the birds, you ain't nothin' but a vulture.
Always hoping for the worst, waitin' for me to fuck up
