adelaide brinsley was a girl who was obsessed with astronomy, cats, and basically lived on the internet. the internet was the only way she could escape the abuse she endured at home and at school. anytime she connected to the internet, it was like she could finally be happy.

december 23, 2011. it was 4:03 am. that's when she met him. he became everything. his eyes seemed to hold the stars, his laugh could create galaxies, and his smile was the sun. he was the universe. she fell in love, as did he, but he just didn't fall as hard.

december 23, 2012. it was 4:03 am. that's the day he left. he left her floating through space and time, but as she came into the earth's atmosphere, gravity did its job. she fell back into the ocean of abuse, self hate, and regret.

december 23, 2013. it was 4:03 am. that is when she disconnected for the last time. the only person she kept in contact with from the internet was her best friend, michael. disconnected was a word she used with... him for real life. ever since she had been completely disconnected, the earth seemed to start to spin slower, everything changed.

june 7, 2015. that is the date today. she is finally moving in with her best friend. where? sydney, australia. she could finally reach the top of the ocean, hopefully being able to float back into outer space. she'd escape the abuse, that was the first step.

but nothing is that easy.
