Chapter two- He changed

The guy walked towards me and I felt scared but didn't showed it. But when Macau called him "Hia", I  felt confused. Was that guy Vegas? I was completely in shocked. When Vegas was young he would always wear colorful clothes and never wore black. But now he was wearing a black leather jacket and black skinny jeans. His appearance also changed. The once innocent looking child has grew up to look like a bad guy. He changed. He became mature and his personality seem to change too. Macau introduced his brother in case I forgot who he was. Vegas gave me a big smile as Macau was talking to me. Then suddenly Vegas said," Let's go somewhere that is not far, Pa will be home soon and I don't want to cause you trouble." 

Then Macau recommended us to go to a sky view hotel but Vegas said, "too crowded I hate it". Vegas hates crowds since birth and he would get anxious if there is more than 10 people near him which aren't bodyguards. He has social anxiety since birth and it cannot be cured. As the two brothers were arguing on where they should hang out, a sudden thought popped up in my head. I suggested them to come to my house on Wednesday since I know Vegas isn't free now and the moving process isn't done yet. Macau agreed to the idea, same with Vegas. We planned on which time we would hang out and what types of food we should have there. 

As we were exchanging numbers and line ids, Mr Kan showed up. He looked furious. He was about to throw hands until he saw me. He approached me with a scary and furious expression on his face. It looks like he didn't remember me. I gained all my courage and said,"Hi Mr Kan, don't you remember me?" He stood there with confusion and asked who was I. I quickly replied saying"I'm Pete, don't you remember me uncle?" As he heard my name his scary expression turned into a smile. He even gave me a hug and welcomed me. He even said he was about to come meet me but he was just busy. I was in complete shock but it made me feel relieved. After some conversations with Mr Kan, Vegas quickly reminded his father that a client will come over. He then left after greeting me goodbye. Mr Kan also ordered Vegas to follow him. Vegas greeted me goodbye and me and Macau are left.

 Later on Macau and I chatted for about 1 hour or two. Eventually I had to leave because it was getting late. As I left Macau double confirmed the date and time that he and his brother will come visit me. We both hugged each other and greeted ourselves goodbye. As I was about to get in the car I saw Vegas who had a bruise on his face and red eyes from crying. I wonder what Mr Kan did to him.

3 days later

Today, Vegas and Macau will come over to my house. Macau said he will bring the snacks and food. Vegas volunteered on buying the drinks. Macau and Vegas both arrived together. Macau was still in his uniform since he just got out of school. He brought chicken, pizza and many more. Meanwhile on the other hand Vegas, he brought some soft drinks and some beer. But me and Vegas didn't allowed Macau to drink because he's still not at the age to drink legally. We just went upstairs to my room and hung out. As we were going upstairs, Macau said" Wow your house is Big P'Pete. I also heard from Aunt Nam that you have a pool area so I brought my swimming gear!" Both me and Vegas laughed at Macau's cuteness as we all went into my room. I didn't want my room to smell like a fast food chain so I went ahead to open all my windows. 

Macau and I ate and talked about a lot of topics meanwhile on the other hand Vegas just ate quietly. I had a look of concern and tried to bring up a topic where he could talk but he said a few words and that's it. Nothing else. As we finished eating we cleaned up the mess, closed back the windows and started to play video games. We were being all competitive in the game and after a while Macau closed the TV because he was losing. He was clearly pissed because he didn't won. Macau stormed to the bathroom and before he went in he requested both Me and Vegas  to change into swimming gears to swim. We just laughed at Macau's cute behavior.
