Chapter One: Walk In the Sunlight

It was a sunny day in Station Square, and two mobians were taking advantage of such a beautiful day by going for a walk. These two mobians were the princess of the Sol Kingdom, Blaze the Cat, and one of the seven members of Team Forces, and the wielder of the Sheild medallion, Silver the Hedgehog.

Blaze: Isn't it such a wonderful day to go for a walk, Silver?

Silver: Yeah! I actually get to feel relaxed for once! Fighting corrupted villains really tires me out, so I'm happy to take a break! What's better is that I get to walk with you, Blaze!

Blaze: Aww, that's so sweet of you, Silver! I'm happy to be around you, too!

Silver: By the way, how are you and Ruby doing with Tabi? He's not being too much of a handful, is he?

Blaze: [Laughs] Oh Silver, you're acting like Tabi's a little kid, but to answer your question, nope! Tabi's been a really big help around Sol, and don't tell Ruby, but I think she and Tabi are developing crushes on each other!

Silver: Really? Ship it! [Blaze laughed at Silver's happiness, but stopped as she turned her attention towards someone] 

Blaze: Hey Silver, isn't that Kat's mom over there? [Points at Mommy Mearest]

Silver: Huh? [Looks in the direction Blaze was pointing, and he saw Mommy Mearest, who looked like she was struggling to carry some groceries] It looks like she needs help. Maybe we should go help her, Blaze!

Blaze: Well, I was hoping it would just be me and you and me today, but I guess we can help her! [The two go over to Mommy Mearest]

Silver: Hello there, Mrs. Mearest!

Mommy Mearest: [Turns around and looks at Silver and Blaze] Why, hello there, darlings!

Silver: You need some help carrying those groceries? [Points at the bags of groceries that the demon was struggling to carry]

Mommy Mearest: Why, of course! I've been having such a hard time carrying these by myself!

Blaze: Wait, but can't you just use your powers to teleport yourself and the groceries back to your place?

Mommy Mearest: I would, but I promised Daddy that I wouldn't use my powers to bring home the groceries! Last time I did, well, let's just say that things went a little out of wack...

Flashback...

[The groceries were on the roof of the Dearest mansion]

Daddy Dearest: I won't even ask...

Mommy Mearest: Hey! I didn't think that using my powers to bring home the groceries would cause them to end up on the roof!

Daddy Dearest: [Facepalms]

End of Flashback...

Blaze: Are you sure you're not just doing this because you want someone to do your heavy work for you?

Silver: Blaze, be nice! I'm sure she wouldn't do something like that! [To Mommy Mearest] I'd be happy to help you carry your groceries, Mrs. Mearest!

Mommy Mearest: [Gasps] Really?! [Hugs Silver] Thank you so much! [Kisses SIlver on the cheek]

Silver: [Flustered] U-Uh... Can you please let me go? [Mommy Mearest lets Silver go] Thanks!

Blaze: [Glares at Silver] I hope you enjoyed that kiss!

Silver: B-Blaze! It's not like that! I didn't even enjoy it that much!

Blaze: [Rools her eyes] Sure you didn't!

Silver: [Sighs as he used his psychokinesis to pick up half of the bags Mommy Mearest was carrying] I'll carry half of the groceries, and you'll carry the other half! Is that okay with you?

Mommy Mearest: Why, of course, it is, darling! 

Blaze: Silver, what about our walk?

Silver: Once I'm finished helping at Mommy Mearest, I promise we'll get back to our walk, and for the rest of it, it'll just be you and me!

Blaze: Well, I trust you. [Silver starts walking with Mommy Mearest back to her place, with Blaze following behind. We then cut to when the three got to the penthouse]

Mommy Mearest: Thank you again for helping me with these groceries, Silver Boy! If it weren't for you, I simply don't know what I would do! 

Silver: No problem, Mrs. Mearest! Happy to help!

Mommy Mearest: You know, if I wasn't already with Daddy, you'd be perfect for me! You could help me with my to-do list and help me out around the house!

Silver: [Flustered and blushing] Uhh...

Mommy Mearest: [Laughs] Oh my god! Why do you have to be so gullible all the time?! I was joking! I would never cheat on Daddy! He's my one and only true love! [Laughs more] You should see the look on your face right now! [Points at Silver's face, and the white hedgehog was indeed blushing madly] Well, I better take these groceries inside! See you around, Silver Boy! [Goes inside]

Silver: W-Well, that was definitely, something... At least we can get back to our walk now, right Blaze? [He saw that Blaze was gone] Blaze? Where did you go? [He saw that Blaze was walking alone] Huh? [He runs over to Blaze] Blaze, where are you going?

Blaze: I'm going back to Sol!

Silver: But what about our walk?

Blaze: I don't think I wanna go on our walk anymore! [Walks off]

Silver: Blaze, wait! Is this about me and Mearest talking?! I swear I don't have any romantic feelings towards her! [Before he knew it, Blaze was gone] Ugh! Gosh, darn it, Silver! You're so stupid!
