As I pushed open the front door to the school I saw some guys from the boy’s basketball team. I walked in and they all turned to me “Nice of you to show up,” Jason said sticking out his hand for a high five. I ignored his hand and he put it down, and walked past him. I turned my head to find no Harry, Zayn, Liam, Louis, or Niall behind me. I speed walked up to the lobby to see them chatting away. “C’mon,” I said “Don’t waste your time talking to them,” Jason turned to face me.

“What was that?” he asked.

“I said, don’t waste your time talking to them,” I said with a smirk.

“Why not,” he said taking a step closer to me.

“Because,” I said walking past him grabbing Liams hand and pulling him with me. The other followed behind. Out of all the guys I find Jason the most annoying. He always tells me that i'm no good at sports, and that nobody likes me. But I just ignore him. I didn't want them talking to him because I knew he would say something bad about me. “Why did you pull us away?” Zayn asked.

“You don't want to talk to him, hes bad news,” I said as a came to a halt in front of my locker. I opened it and pulled out my basketball sneakers.

“He seemed fine,” Harry said.

“Whatever!” I screamed.

“I’m sorry,” He said looking scared. Then he glanced down at my hand which was in a fist. I opened it only to reveal that my hand was still bleeding. “You should get a bandage,” Liam said coming up behind me grabbing my hand. I yanked away taking a step away from him. I looked at them for a second then turned my body and started walking back to the gym. I heard footsteps behind me, I didn't even glance back at them I kept walking. When i got up to the lobby I saw jason and around six other people. I glanced at them, then kept walking. “Ericas gonna be so mad,” I heard Jimmy say. I turned my head to look at him. “I don't care,” I said. Then whipped my head around. I shoved the gym doors open as hard as I could. All eyes were on me. “Hi sorry I'm late,” I said looking into my coaches eyes. “At Least you're here,” She said with a smile that made me feel so much better. I put my stuff on the bench and went out to join my team in practicing shooting. I heard the doors open again I looked over to see Liam walk in first, then Zayn,Niall,Louis, and Harry. Loud shrieks came from the gym everyone ran to them, even the coach. All I did was laugh, and shoot a 3 pointer. The ball swished into the net. I ran to pick it up, I grabbed it from the ground standing up I looked over at the boys to there overwhelmed faces. All the girls on the team were all over them. The coach was trying to get them settled down, but it was not working. I knew what to do, I dropped the ball on the ground putting my foot on top of it so it would stop bouncing. I drew my hands up to my mouth then did one of those really loud whistle. Everyone stopped talking and faced me. “ We need to practice stop screwing around,” I said. Then I bent down to pick up my ball. I dribbled out to beyond the three point line and shot. Swish! “Yes,” I said and turned to look at the girls they all stared at me shocked. “Did you hear me? I said we need to practice,” I said sternly. This time they all ran towards picking up the balls they dropped before. I shot a couple more three pointers and then some lay-ups, and some foul shots.I didn’t miss a single one. I ran 4 laps then went to get some water. After I went to check up on the boys. “Bree!” I heard Niall yell. I looked up on the top bleachers. “Hey,” I said walking towards them. “Your amazing,” He said with a smile I blushed.

“Thanks,”

“How did you learn how to play like that?”

“I don’t know,’’ I said honestly. My parents never had time to play any sport with me. Or should I put it like this, They never did anything with me.
