Chapter 2: I vaporise my pre-algebra teacher

Time skip from previous chapter
Perci's POV:
I had started training with Diana, with the watchtower becoming my house. At the watchtower, I would either be training with Diana or revising the stuff I had learnt at school.
If you were wondering, yes. I do attend school. Bruce had agreed to let me attend school, hoping that I could get at least a normal life, just that I had to be more careful about cutting myself, so as to prevent myself from suddenly transforming into a Titan and causing a lot of property damage.
In the day, I attended Gotham Academy, while in the afternoon, I went to the nearest Zeta Tube to get to the watchtower to train with Diana.
Time skip to school trip to museum
Perci's POV
My class and I were on a field trip to some museum in Gotham, and I was on the bus sitting next to my friend Grover. My classmate, as usual, was chucking pieces of her peanut butter sandwich at the back of Grover's head.
I wanted to get up and slap her, but Grover stopped me, reminding me that the principal had already warned me that if I cause any more trouble, I would be expelled.
Hence, I had to sit in the bus and deal with Nancy's bullshit. It was very annoying, but I did not want to cause any trouble.
Time skip
We were at the museum now, and we were walking through the Greek Exhibit, where there were murals of the Greek gods. My adopted mother Diana had taught me all about them, and how one of my parents was a god or goddess.
I didn't really know much about my godly parent, just that my father told me that she had been killed during one of the wars against the Eldians.
At one of the exhibits, my Latin teacher Mr. Brunner stopped to teach us. I really wanted to hear what he was saying, but Nancy, who was standing behind me, was laughing and talking, which really annoyed me.
Turning my back to face her, I said, "Nancy, could you please stop talking? It's really annoying." That came out louder than I originally wanted, and everyone turned to look at me.
"So, Ms. Braun, is there anything that you would like to share with the class?" Mr Brunner asked me. Mrs. Dodds, who was our pre-algebra teacher and my least favourite teacher, tutted at us from the back. My face turned red from embarrassment.
"No, Mr. Brunner." I replied, really wanting to shake off the stares from my classmates. "Well, since you've gotten everyone's attention now, you might as well answer this question. Ms Braun, what does this mural here symbolise?"
"It represents the Titan king Kronos eating his children, sir."
"Very good. And how does that apply to our daily life,  Ms Braun?" He asked. At that question, I was dumbfounded. How the hell was I supposed to answer that? It was not like I could just say that I was a demigod, right?" At that moment, Nancy Bobofit decided that it was the perfect moment to cut in with a joke.
"I mean, how are you going to answer that? It's not like we are going to have to apply such a thing in our lives, right?" She said.
At that moment, Mr Brunner decided to look at his watch. "Ah. Looks like it's break time now. Students, please head to the courtyard to have your food."
With that, we all headed out into the courtyard.
In the courtyard, Nancy walked up to us and dumped her half-eaten sandwich in my lap and said, "Here's your lunch."
I wanted to slap her very badly, but Grover pulled me back down. "You know you can't do this. You'll get into trouble again!"
Just then, Nancy fell into the fountain. "She pushed me!" A few heads turned to look at me, as I stuttered trying to explain myself. Gods, was this embarrassing.
Just then, Mrs Dodds approached me, with a sinister smirk on her face as she said, "you're in trouble, Ms Braun." She immediately asked me to follow her, and when she noticed that we were alone, her form immediately changed, and she was saying, "where is it, Braun? I know you took it."
"I didn't take anything, okay? If you mean Nancy's homework, yes." I replied. At that moment, I was already ready to kill this thing with my warhammer Titan powers.
Just then, she lunged at me, her fingers turning into claws, and just as I was about to flick out the spike on my ring to cut myself, Mr Brunner appeared.
He threw his pen at me, which turned into a gleaming bronze sword. I grabbed the sword, and using Diana's training, I swung it at the thing, which caused it to turn into golden dust and vaporise. Turning back to Mr Brunner, I realised that he had gone.
Walking outside into the courtyard, I was greeted by Nancy Bobofit, who asked, "how did it go? Did Mrs kerscher expell you?"
"Who?" I replied in confusion. As far as I knew, there was no Mrs Kerscher who taught in this school. Something else was definitely at play here. People don't just forget about things randomly.
Wanting to escape from Nancy, I finally saw Mr Brunner out of the corner of my eye and walked over to him. "Ms Braun, can I have my writing utensil back, please?" I returned the pen/ sword back to him.
After that, we just walked through the museum a bit more before taking the bus back to Gotham Academy.
Time skip
I was studying in my dorm that I had shared with Barbara, and as I got up to get a glass of cold water, I noticed that Grover was talking to. Mr Brunner in his office nearby.
Curious as to what they were saying, I decided to eavesdrop on them. "Chiron, we can't just continue to pretend we do not know about Hee parentage. The fates themselves have come for her."
"I know Grover, but we have to keep her safe for some more time." Mr Brunner replied. At this moment, I accidentally dropped my book, which caused a loud noise, which drew the attention of Grover. Without any hesitation, I quickly ran away back to my dorms.
Time skip to the end of the school year
Grover and I were heading back home on a bus, when we stopped by a small market. The bus had stopped there, and since Grover needed to use the toilet desperately, we also alighted.
While walking around the area, I noticed a group of three old woman knitting socks. I did not really care about them, until one of them looked at me and snipped a thread. I felt really creeped out by that, so I decided to wait for Grover outside of the toilet.
When he got out, we were barely able to catch the bus back home. When I reached home, I immediately told Diana about what happened, and she immediately turned pale. She immediately told me to pack my stuff, as we were going somewhere.
