Chapter 1: Forced Volunteer
There's nothing more embarassing than an incoming senior being a pink angel wearing a pink halo, pink dress, sparkly pink wings and pink flat shoes.
Yes, I know I'm probably too bright and annoying for someone who doesn't like pink but what can I do? Most grade school girls likes pink and this being their girl scout color is a must that I should wear.
I was pushed by a total of 30 girl scouts from Pink Angels who were aged 6-9 as they try to pass me the cupcake box.
I tried to swallow the bile forming in my throat but this time twice embarass of what is to come.
We were at the doorstep of a notorious teenage boy who the town fears for having committed several crimes including underground fighting.
I was pretty sure he hasnt killed anyone but he had broken a lot of noses already which still caused a panic around town. His black jet motorbike and red racing car are parked at the side of his house.
And his house..
Oh!
It wasn't just a house it almost a mansion except he has no golden gate or a guard for that.
I mean why would he need a guard when I'm sure that even thieves dont dare mess up with him.
It was a shocker that the garden infront of his house is well kept even if he lives alone.
Maybe he has a maid but I bet the maid would be scared for her life if she did live here.People said that his parents are not living with him and are abroad but then again who would want to live with him?
He might own a mansion that is to die for but it doesnt exclude the fact that people shiver in fear whenever they pass by along this area.
"Go Reagan!" My eight year old sister, Kara whispered a cheer for me to go ahead.
I took a deep breath and as I reached for the doorbell and heard it rung.
This wasn't suppose to happen. I shouldn't be here. I shouldn't have dressed up as The Pink Angel mascot if not for my neighbor Shelly who got injured after slipping in the malls floor. She lives with a total of 15 cats and dogs who was at her late 30's. This wouldn't have happened. She had been distributing this cupcake ever since I started baking for the
Why now? Why today? I mean yes we're selling the cupcakes I baked with all my heart but being the mascot was last on my list. By here I am lucky me.
Intense sarcasm.
I'm here stuck in this pink angel outfit together with a bunch of little girl scouts.
The footsteps on the door got closer.
"He really likes the cupcakes we send to him whenever Shelly comes here." Kara informed me.
The bad boy likes my cupcakes?
I shook my head in disbelief and held my breath as the door swung open.
Riley Anderson
It was late in the afternoon. He was our last customer but it seems like he just woke up.
We were met by a disshiveled hair of a brown haired boy. Only in his pajama pants without a shirt on.
I would have took my time ogling his eight pack abs but I tought fast like a sane person.
The girls gasp and I had to turn to them and say "Girls close you eyes!"
They all placed their hands over their eyes and dared not to peek.
