I wake up feeling a hand wrapped around my waist and wet kisses over my throat and cheek. My eyelids flutter open trying to adjust to the violently harsh light that evades the space.

'Morning baby', the hoarse voice of the person lying beside me exclaims.

My pretty baby. I turn around in his arms, smiling, looking at his emerald green eyes that match mine. 'Good morning', a grown follows my voice.

'Common! Wake up, you have to go to that meeting. It's already 9 o' clock'. By the time he has finished his sentence I'm already up, quite literally running to the bathroom. 'Fuck, shit, shit, shit!', I hear Harry laugh. 'Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Don't you dare laugh!', I mumble loudly while I try to brush my teeth as fast as humanly possible.

By the time I'm finished putting on my make up and styling my curly brown hair, I'm feeling very grateful for deciding to never stop doing my highlights as they light up my face.

'I'll drive you', echoes through the room.

'Thank baby'. I rush to his side to give him a quick kiss, while, at the same time I'm putting on my black pants. Sliding my heels on my feet I let Harry clasp them, while I simultaneously fasten my black button up, leaving the three top buttons unbuckled, allowing my luscious breasts on display, enough to compliment my figure, but not coming off as slutty.

Taking my folder and bag on my hand I run towards the door with Harry still in pyjamas trailing behind me, with keys in hand before I'm able to scowl him.

We get in the car, and as soon as my ass touches that leather seat I'm already putting on my golden rings since, my necklaces and earrings rarely leave my neck and ears bare.

Today, I am signing some contracts for this sailings business that recently hired me and it's really important to not be late since those clients are playing on huge numbers and so is my percentage. Plus it's the first time I am actually meeting one of the owners since I was contacted by someone lower in the hierarchy. I wouldn't wanna make a bad impression. Especially now, that it's the beginning in my career as a lawyer. Although, I am truly grateful because even though I just started, my income ... let me tell you, is really satisfying.

We don't really converse much, because Harry is aware that I hate small talk before business as I like silence to clear my head and focus on the task at. hand.

When we arrive at the location, I give Harry a kiss and thank him for driving me. 'No problem baby. See you later. Good luck.', is the answer he fives me accompanied with that reassuring smile full of straight white teeth.

Stepping out of the car, I am faced with a huge building covered in mirrored windows, and a very classy entrance. I rush to get in, contacting the secretary at the front desk, and taking the elevator to the floor she indicated I should go.

The few seconds of tedious elevator music are enough for me to fix my composure. Stepping out, pacing towards the long wooden door at the end of the corridor, I am at complete awe of the the view this office has. Makes you feel like the whole city is at your feet.

Knocking gently on the door, I open it and hear the sound of my heels against the marble floor as I enter the big room, facing a huge oval wooden table that almost takes up all the space, black leather chairs surrounding it, and glass allowing the necessary light.

I am met with an old man, aged approximately 65 to 70, his white hair in his beard and hair and wrinkles at the sides of his eyes and mouth as he smiles warmly at me betraying his age.

"hello miss May, happy to meet you, you must be the lower of GS AI. I'm the head of BSS SI. Stephan Hudson"

"happy to make your acquaintance"

next to him is seated another man, younger with dark hair and round glasses, nice sharp edges and lean frame. Too worked up in the view beside him to notice my presence. I'm assuming this is the lawyer of the other company.

I make my way to the leather chair across from them, put my papers in place, as a female voice, soft and professional offers us beverages.

"I'd like a black coffee, if it would be easy."

nodding she adds"mister Black will be here shortly"

To that my eyes bob from my head. That name... I haven't heard it in years. Must be a coincidence. yeah... absolutely.

The next few minutes pass in awkward silence and polite smiles, small talk about the weather that are finally interrupted by the sound of polished black dress shoes nearing and a deep voice accompanying them.

" You'll excuse me for the delay"

That voice...

soo so familiar.

I haven't faced him yet. My back is at the door and even though I am more than sure it is him I still hold on to the slightest possibility that I just misheard. But too many coincidences.

"Aye sir Black, no problem at all." Sir Hudson laughs.

seems like a nice old man honestly.

He enters my line of vision, and those eyes.. those brown eyes look at me yet again, and what surprises me is that they too are full of surprise, which is weird because how wouldn't he know that they hired me? It's literally his company. My eyes take in his whole frame, his nose straight as it always has been, his lips not too full but not paper thin the perfect shade of pink, his hair still the light brown they were, wavy and flawless, just like I remember. His body has changed. His shoulders are broader and he looks stronger with better posture. But, he somehow looks tired, consumed. However, I don't fail to notice his attire, almost identical to my own if you make the button up blue and add a belt.

I might've been staring a second too long, and I think he made the same mistake. The moment is ruined by the subtle cough of the old man across me.

I think I forgot how to breathe for a second.

He breaks the eye contact pulls the chair next to me and sits down. Next. to. me.

Too close.

He smiles gently to the other side and begins the meeting. I have to do my job and compose my thoughts in order to let them have a mental break down later, at home, by myself. The rest of the meeting goes on smoothly, with no interruptions and no glances towards each other. He didn't look at me once.

only when the secretary came and offered me the coffee I had ordered. Only then did he look air me weirdly. And then got back to work.

After an hour or two the deal had been closed, the money would be deposited to my account by next week, and after I got up from that chair, said my goodbyes, and made my way to the elevator I could finally breath.

While I watch the doors close a hand got in between them, causing them to open.

" Missed me Liz?"

he said with a cheecky smirk on his face, leaning against the closed elevator doors.

"Hi Nick"
