"Aap..Aap yeh sab kyu puch rahe hain Sir?",

She asked turning towards the big window. Meanwhile My doubts were now getting cleared,

"Umm..Chandni! Agar Yeh Shehnaaz humari Shehnaaz hain toh! Let me tell you! Umm...Main..Main Samrat hoon! Sidhaarth ka Bachpan ka Dost!",

As soon as I said this, Chandni snapped at me with moist eyes, she frowned gulping the lump in her throat.

"Samrat? Matlab Samrat Jindal?",

She asked with astonishment, while I nodded my head affirming her doubts but there's no time to play this intro game. Rather, I want to know where Shehnaaz was and for that I need to meet her personally.

"Umm...Chandni! Please Shehnaaz..Is there any way I can meet...!!",

Before I could continue, Chandni looked at me, technically she was glaring me.

"Don't! Agar Tum yeh Request kar rahe ho ki main Apni Bestfriend ko Tumhare Dost ke Hawale phir se kar doon toh... that's not gonna happen!",

I heard her stern tone. I know whatever happened years back, their reaction is pretty justified.

"Chan..Chandni! Please! Sidharth ki Life Tabah ho chuki hain Chandni and So as Saana's!",

"No...Hell No!",

She shouted on the top of her voice, now my patience level was broken. I glared her and said those unsaid words which even Shehnaaz never told her,

"Haan..Haan Just because you used to like Sidharth! Isiliye nahi Chahti ho na Dono ki Life Sawar jaye! Kyuki..You are fucking Obsessed with Sid..",

Before I could proceed, a loud splat rang in the room. Her eyes were red and moist, Chandni was shaking out of rage.

" How Dare You! Haan Karti thi Sidharth ko Like! Aur yeh bhi Sacch hain main nahi chahti Meri Bestfriend aur Sidharth phir se mil jaye! Iss liye nahi Main tumhare Friend se obsessed hoon! It's because Maine Apni Saanu ko Nark se battar Sazah paate dekha hain! Aur nahi chahti Use koi dukh mein dekhna! Kya pata kal ko tumhara Bestfriend phir se meri Friend ko Dhoka de!",

She said sobbing but the word, ‘Dhoka’, struck my mind. What? No! Nothing like this happened atleast I didn't know about this. Wait! I need to have a conversation about this to Sidharth.

"Ch..Chandni! See! I am sorry! But Mera Dost waisa nahi hain! He..He is a loyal guy..Infact He used to Love Shehnaaz way too much! He can't be a cheater! Still! If you are saying this! I will have a conversation with him.",

I said and was about to leave but stopped remembering the unnecessary venom I spit at her. Strolling towards her, I hugged her tightly.

" I am really very sorry Chandni! For my words! I shouldn't have blurted those shits!"

Saying so, I looked at her when she nodded her head and left the room. Now I have to know what is the real matter.

While on the other hand, Shehnaaz reached house and entered her room. The moment she stepped inside, She settled down on the swing in her balcony and looked up in the sky. Remembering all their past which has been haunting her so much.

“ Sidharth! Please Don't leave me! I love you! I can't live without you! I will support you...I am ready to wait for you unless you complete your Exams!”,

An impatient Shehnaaz said to Sidharth. It was five years back, They were childhood sweethearts. Dating eachother since the school times till the present time, they became an example for everyone out there. The way she used to pamper his anger, his mood swings, loving him, submitting her to him and the way he used to take care of her, loving her unconditionally, trust her was something someone's beyond imagination.

“ Sana! I..I am not able to concentrate on my Exams! Moreover...Umm...I am sorry Saana! Don't get me wrong but I went on a date the previous day and I have started liking that girl! I am Sorry! Hope you understand!”,

He said freeing his hands from her hold while she was numb. A lone tear escaped from her eyes. Yet, Wiping off the tear she laughed making him baffled,

“Oh my God! Baby! Please Stop Joking! You can't see another girl other than me. After all you love me so much! Moreover you know that am preggo and you said that you will Marry me soon”,

She said chuckling and was about to cup his face when a random girl came and called him,

“ Sid! Baby!”,

She said making Shehnaaz frown to which Sidharth looked down and gulped down the lump in his throat,

“ umm.. Shehnaaz! Yeh..Yeh Ananya hain..the gir..”,

Before He could proceed further, she said making the girl smile,

“ seeing now? ”

Saying so, she stood up and nodded her head while Sidharth's eyes were moist too. He so wanted to apologize hugging him tightly.

Her chain of thought broke when she felt a press on her shoulder. Turning around, she saw it was Chandni.

"Arrey Baby! Tu? Aa na baith!",

She said shifting patting on the couch.

" Sidharth ke baare mein soch rahi hain?",

She said making Shehnaaz looked at her being stunned, while Chandni mumbled 'I know', that's when she nodded her head and said,

"Chandni! Life mein kuch bhi ho jaye! Khudko kabhi kisi ke liye Change mat karna! Log Kadr nahi karti!",

She said sighing out, to which Chandni hugged her tightly and pecked her hair.

"Main..Main toh bohot khush thi Chandni! Jhalli si thi, Attitude wali jo ab main hoon waisi hi thi lekin uss insaan ne mujhe badla tha! Ek Spoilt Brat se ek Acchi Ladki banaya tha! Lekin Aaj jab main phir aapne purane zone mein hoon toh khush kyu nahi hoon Chandni? Aisa kyu lag raha hain ki Itni Ameer hoke bhi Main Kangaal hoon!",

She said in a monotonous tone looking at the sky. While Chandni cupped her face and looked deeply into her eyes,

" Baby! Tu Ro rahi hain? Tu Sherni hain Humari! Tu Sherni hain Jahnvi Aunty ki! Sherniya Kamzor nahi padhti balki Noch Khati hain! Aur kisne bola tu Kangaal hain? Hum hain na! Main, mumma, Papa, Chachu, Dadi saare hain meri jaan..Sab tujhse kitnaaa pyaar karte hain saali Mere ghar ke kutte bhi mujhse zyada tujhe pyaar karte hain! Aur tu bol rahi hain Kangal hain tu?",

She said when Shehnaaz lied down on her lap and cried, sobbing while she caressed her hair and mumbled,

"Pagal!"

While on the other hand, Samrat reached Sidharth's house only to see him standing infront of mini bar, drinking the liquor like a thirsty crow.

"Sidharth! I got to know something!",

He said making him turned around and look at him with moist red eyes,

"Tu ne Saana ko cheat kiya?",
