A Soulmate Bond

Entrence Exam pt 1

I fell off my bed when I heard the door slam open. I rolled over onto my side, pushed myself up, and sent a playful glare at my loud blonde friend. He held his hand out to me and pulled me up when I grabbed his. Once I was on my feet, I looked at the time to see that it was almost ten o'clock.

I got dressed in my workout clothes and then we went downstairs. I ate something small, and then we walked out. We jogged to the beach that ran from one side of the beach to the other side. We did this for a few houses, and by the time we were done, the two of us were sweating, Kacchan more than me.

"We should cool off," Kacchan said, looking over at me.

After my smile, I grabbed his wrist and threw him over my shoulder into the water before he could say any more. ‌He had spiky hair normally in his face, so I doubled over and guffawed. I was pulled into the water next, with ‌Kacchan laughing at ‌me. The two stop laughing and look at each other before laughing again.

We got up and ran back to the house. I thanked all the underground heroes. I knew that my mom wasn't home when we got back. I told Kacchan to go shower, and I was going to start cleaning up the water on the floor. He went upstairs, and I went to grab a towel to start drying the floor. When I was done, I made sure to be careful going up the stairs and went to my room. I peeled off my wet clothes and dropped them in my hamper and started looking for clothes for me and Kacchan.

I wrapped a towel around my waist and went to the bathroom. I knocked on the door and set the clothes on the sink and closed the door again, walking back to my room. I started to look for something to wear. When Kacchan came into the room, I had my clothes laying over my arm and I walked out and to the bathroom.

I took a shower and got out. After drying off, I changed into some blue ripped jeans, a cropped top, and black boots that Kacchan gave me. I walked into my room after drying my hair. After I was done, we went downstairs and Kaccan made dinner for the two of us since he said, and I quote, "You'll just burn the food, you damn nerd!" So I just said, "Out of the kitchen." Five minutes later, the two of us were sitting down at the table eating some soba.

I had just woken up to the sun in my face. For a minute, I just lay there on my bed staring up at the ceiling until mom called me down for breakfast. I smiled and sat up on my bed, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes before going down to the kitchen. When I get down there, I see waffles and strawberries on the table. Mom's cleaning up a small mess she made.

After she was done, she sat down and ate with me. When I was done, I washed my plate, then I went upstairs for a shower and changed into some clothes. As I was drying my hair, I made sure I had everything I needed. I smiled when nothing was missing, so I closed the suitcase and went downstairs, yelling good-bye to my mom. I heard her yell out good luck before the door closed.
