The next morning was laid back and calm, the past night's chaos forgotten.

Chan's large arm was wrapped around my waist, his face buried in my hair as his soft snore sent vibrations down my neck.

"Channie?" i whispered, attempting to push him off since the heat was overwhelming and i needed to empty my bladder.

"Mmm." He groaned, his arm's tightening its grip.

"Ah- Channie please, it's too hot."

He grumbled, before pulling away, his broad back now facing me.

Finally, i thought.

Getting up to use the bathroom, i flung open the curtains letting bright light fill the dingy room, blue skys's and birds chirping.

A beautiful day.

"Lixie?!" a scratchy yell interrupted my business as i finished using the bathroom.

"I'm just in the bathroom Channie!" i yelled back.

I heard a shuffle and soft thud, followed by quiet footsteps.

The door creaked open and Chan stood there, shirtless in all his glory, messy hair and puffy face.

It was times like these where i felt as though Chan was the most vulnerable. His guard down and weapons placed.

It would be easy for me to simply run away or kill him while he was in these moments, but i couldn't bring myself to hurt him.

His hands slid across my tummy as he rest his head in the crook of my neck.

"Good morning." he rasped.

The deeper voice sent shivers down my spine as i grabbed a towel to wipe the water off my face.

"Good morning." i replied in an even deeper voice.

Chuckling, he pulled away, ruffling my hair, "I have quite a bit to do today because of the Hwangs, you can either stay in the bedroom or stay with me in my office. Remember what i said last night?"

I nodded, slightly upset that i wouldn't be able to see Innie.

"Good boy, I'll go ask the maid to bring you your breakfast, sit tight." He whispered, pressing a kiss against my temple before leaving the bedroom.

I sighed, knowing that the next couple days would be my personal hell caused my loneliness.

As if on command a sharp knock left my door.

The maid walked in with a tray of eggs, pastry and coffee.

She set the bedside table up silently, not even glancing at me as she finished her task, but before leaving the room, she stopped.

"Mr. Lee,  trust no one but those who say your true name today. i wish you luck." She whispered, before leaving.

I sat there confused at her message, my true name?

Lee Felix?... or maybe she means my korean name, Yongbok?

It made no sense since that was common knowledge.

An hour later, i finished my breakfast, the words of the maid on repeat.

That was certainly a symbol.

Was she in on Innie and i's plan?

Shrugging it off, i pulled of my robe and dressed for the day, relying on some comfy shorts and one of Chans wife beaters.
