Dealing with Paul is... far from easy, which is to be expected. However, it had taken Arthur far too long to realize it. Now he understands just how difficult it is to care for Paul...and it's only been a couple of weeks. It should have taken him a shorter amount of time to realize just how draining this task would be on him. Though, Arthur can't turn back now. He's taken Paul into his care, and now he's teaching him the many ways of life.

Returning to France was a long journey for them. It had started off with getting breakfast at the hotel they were staying in... which was a horrible idea. Arthur should have known better. Paul had absolutely no idea what human food was. It still makes Arthur wonder what he ate in that lab, if he had ever actually eaten. Not only that, but he's far too sensitive to his surroundings. Paul hadn't gotten used to the atmosphere of the outside world. To him, the lighting was far too bright for his sensitive eyes, and the chatting of the surrounding people were too loud for his delicate ears.

That was only one of the many challenges that occurred that morning. The two of them spent hours in the lobby, and Arthur took his time teaching Paul all about something as simple as breakfast. He was patient and understanding, which Paul will forever he grateful for. Arthur couldn't help but to pity the man. Paul couldn't even hold a spoon properly. Additionally, both men spent over half their morning trying to find a meal Paul enjoyed.

What Arthur learned that day was his new partner was very... very picky. Paul couldn't stand the texture of most foods, while with other dishes, he simply didn't like the taste. He also preferred to use his hands while eating, due to the lack of skill with holding utensils, which that also gained them both plenty of odd glances from other visitors. Arthur paid no mind to them, and Paul didn't seem to notice how his strange behavior effected the people surrounding them. Eventually Paul settled on a simple breakfast, and they both were satisfied.

Arthur was thankful to leave the hotel and to finally return home. The ride home was much easier, only because it was in a private aircraft. The only mishap was how the noise was too loud, but Paul solved that himself by covering his ears. Arthur can't say he's ever seen a grown man look so happy to look out of an aircraft window... nor a child in that matter. He also learned that Paul was a very curious man, to say the least. Paul is a man who acts much too similar to a child. However, Arthur doesn't blame him for it. The man wasn't ever taught how to be human, or any basic human decency. That was suddenly placed upon Arthur to do... to which he has no problem doing it.

Getting back to France wasn't any easier. Teaching Paul was still a hassle, but he was learning... they both were. Manners were a start, but they still needed a lot of work... Paul has improved though, and as long as they made a little improvement each day... they will be fine. A little improvement every day goes a long way, and if Paul is at least learning something, then Arthur is doing his job right.

After a very important meeting with the government, Arthur could now officially call Paul his partner. They will work together in future missions; however, it's Arthur's job to physically train him. He had originally planned to do that either way, and Paul should still know a few things from whatever past he held. Either way, Arthur planned to do everything he could to help his partner.

Arthur is going to teach Paul him the ways of life, and how beautiful this awful world can be. Paul's seen enough of the cruel world... and he deserves more. However, Arthur can only give him so much. The French government still plans on using Paul, and Arthur can do nothing about it. The only thing he can do is teach him to feel human... and he's going to.

But for now... they have their very first mission together. Paul expresses some hints of excitement, but Arthur has been through this process too many times to ever be excited about work. Though... maybe with Paul, he'll be able to enjoy it better.  Just as how he enjoys his new life with Paul.
