C12|Unexpected Victory

A foot thumped, so loud it could be heard from every range, "Ribbit." Was all Tsu could say, lifting up Deku by the waist away from Nomu, "All Might..." Y/N mumbled under her breath along with Deku, all of them were in shock. Not knowing what to expect to happen next the hero stood at the entrance. Looking to the world like a man on a mission, he threw his yellow suit on the ground ready to fight for his students, "Oh." Shigaraki said seeming to be unbothered, "Were getting a resume." He whispered to himself, a smirk forming on his face.

"Wake up, young L/N!" All might's voice was heard through Y/N's ringing ears. Explosions were all around them back and fourth. The girl tried to open her eyes and see properly but her vision was failing her, it wasn't long before her consciousness did too.

Y/N started to wake up slowly to the sound of a beeping machine beside her, a light flashed before her eyes. 'Is this heaven?' She thought to herself. She slowly regained her sight and got the strength to look around, "You're awake." a familiar voice from beside her spoke, she realized it was Todoroki and immediately sat up but unfortunately fell back wincing through the pain she felt on her legs.

"Take it easy." the boy advised and settled her back down on her bed gently as he looked deeply into her eyes, for a moment she thought she saw concern and his pupils forming into small hearts, "What happened?" Y/N asked, ignoring the red and white haired boy, "You got attacked by Shigaraki." He nonchalantly replied. Y/N blinked and shrugged off the weird eye contact.

"How...?" Y/N tilted her head to the side a little, questioning Todoroki curiously, "you really don't remember, don't you?" He sighed and brought his head down to face the floor and shake it no in disappointment. "Well.." He started.

"On of you will die either way." Shigaraki stood up with all his might, blood trickling all over him but still managed to put an evil smile on his face. Moments of tense were passing by as Shigaraki, Aizawa and All Might was standing facing each other in a triangle form. All were soaked in their own blood because of their injuries. The students watching from afar in horror while the others fought off the remaining villains.

Shigaraki took his chance and lounged at the two. At least, that's what All Might and the others thought. Shigaraki went straight for Aizawa, his eyes widen in shock when the villain reached his arm out to touch the defenseless sensei. Behind the student that watched in horror was Y/N who cracked. 

The girl ran as fast as she could and got in front of her beloved sensei to defend him from Shigaraki's acidic touch, she felt like as if she flew in the air when she jumped between them. The villain was in shock, but there was no way to stop himself now. Aizawa just stood there frozen, feeling weak that he is unable to do something useful.

Shigaraki's hand landed on Y/N's left leg, the girl fell on the ground groaning on the impact and pain from her breaking down skin on her left leg. The next thing she knew was that there were explosions all around her, gasps and cries. She felt weak and unable to move so she just laid down on the ground, waiting for some kind of help.

"I remember now.." the girl was left mouth gaped when she remembered what happened and realized how strong and brave she was. She didn't expect this from herself and she was actually proud, a grin formed on her face as she turned to Todoroki, "So I'm basically a hero, right?" she asked with a smirk, the boy in front of her shook his head in disappointment. 

"How do you even know the others are safe?" He brought her back to reality, her smile quickly faded away and turned to horror of realization, "Are they safe...?" She asked, unsure if she wanted to know the answer to that or not. Todoroki found her reaction cute and smiled a bit to himself, "Yes. Yes they are, Y/N. I guess you could say it was an unexpected victory." his lips formed a little smile as he did a little shrug.

Y/N sighed in relief and let out a breath she didn't know she was holding, "Oh that's great.." She smile to herself as she dramatically put a hand over her heart with her eyes closed. But when she opened it again, she saw a glimpse of Todoroki, the cold, nonchalant guy smirking at her fully, "Did I just make you smile?" she asked in a teasing tone, eyeing the boy. It seems like it was her turn to grin.

Todoroki's smile vanished and small pink tinted blush formed on his cheeks as he turned away and tried to act calm and nonchalant as possible, "You didn't." he calmly replied, Y/N eyed him with interest and nod her head slowly, 'Mhm. Sure." she sarcatically replied, Todoroki's eyes one landed on her again just to catch a glimpse of her looking down on her injury, seeming to be scared.

"You okay?" He asks, trying not to sound too worried, "Yeah, I'm okay." Y/N forced a smile on her face, the boy knew her smile too well to not know that it was fake, he would always steal glances at her from time to time since the day they met.

"I promise to marry you one day when we grow up!" A little boy smiled lovingly at the girl, "Really? You will?" She coos, the boy nods repeatedly, "I will love you forever until the day we die." He smiled as he took her soft little hands into his. They both giggled and continued playing in the field of grass full of flowers.

.

The two looked at each other in silence, but the silence they heard and felt was somehow.. comfortable? The warm colored sun shined on both of them, their eyes reflected and locked on each other. They were somehow enjoying each others company when suddenly they heard voices from outside arguing.

Just then the two were about to turn their heads to the door to see who it was.. BANG! It opened, revealing a specific blonde boy, "I just need to see her-" He exclaimed as he turned his head to see the room, he went from noisy to silent. Katsuki just stood there shocked and somehow an expression hinting that he was... Hurt..?
