the stars were beautiful, and the ocean glistened under the moonlight. he sat there his toes in the sand, the cold summer breeze making his hair messy. he could somehow feel this would be a summer he would never forget.

as the car moves slowly in to the deserted parking lot she could see the beautiful ocean and smell the freshness of the breeze. a boy sitting in the sand his hair messy, staring out into the water. as she walked down to the beach she couldn't help but stair. if only she had the courage to speak to him. but after all she wasn't looking for a relationship.
them.
neither were looking for something long term, only wanted something to take their minds off of the broken past. hookups, dumb dates, spending time, it could only be for the summer. then they would go back to their lives but what if neither of them wanted to let go in the end.
