Jamal POV

"I am so ready to get lit!" Parker screamed as I pulled up to the party.

Which was literally down the street from my house. She reapplied her lip gloss for the fifth time of us being in the car. I waited for her. After she was done we hopped out the car and she grabbed my hand and I was gonna pull away but didn't wanna hurt her feelings or wanna make her feel rejected.

We walked into the party and everybody was screaming and dancing. I let her lead me through the party. I saw some of the guys from the team.

"If it isn't mister, it sure is a motherfucking ME in that motherfucker." I laughed walking up to him and dapped him and the guys up.

"I am gonna go over there with the girls." Parker smiled at me and I nodded. She walked off and the guys look at each other and nodded.

"That's you?" Josh asked.

"We are just friends" I shrugged and he shook his head and they all laughed.

"She will be your girl soon." I laughed and we started talking about who's better between Nicki and Beyoncé.

"You can't tell me Beyoncé hasn't had work done." Marvin argued.

"Yes I can. Beyoncé hasn't had any work done." Josh said. We all laughed and they started going back and forth.
"Beyoncé always had hips bro from destiny's child." Josh fired.

"Whatever man." Marvin shook his head. "Nicki still better in the face"

"What the fuck bro! No the fuck she not. Did you watch Beyoncé's naughty girl video or baby boy video?" We laughed

"He telling the truth though" I agreed with Josh.

"Beyoncé is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her and Keri Hilson are bad as fuck" Jordan said and I pointed at him and nodded.

"Yes bro. You on point" I said.
Parker walked up to me and gave me a cup. She rubbed her hand up my chest.

"You okay?" She asked and I nodded.

"You cool?" She smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, hurry up with this conversation so you can come dance with me." I nodded and she walked off.

"What?" I asked seeing that all the guys were staring at me.

"Nothing" Jordan laughed.

"Y'all know who else is fire as fuck" Josh said. "Lizzo" the all furrowed up their face.

"No bro you lost me." Jordan laughed "all that is a no for me."

"What bro? Lizzo lit as fuck and you can tell she good people and plus more cushion for the pushing. Her face in on ten and her body is attractive as fuck..." Josh sad and I nodded in agreement.

"I agree bro. I don't discriminate and plus big girls take better care of themselves lowkey." Marvin said and I nodded sipping my drink. " Plus in someway they are more attractive because they have a more feminine look. The chubby your face, skin always super soft. Super soft to the touch, dress more feminine. Over they way they present themselves is so graceful and classy."

"Yes and they always smell good" I said, remembering how Joi smelled this morning.

"Like Joi . She can get it" I snapped my head in Marvin's direction. "I would date her but I-"

"Then what you are about to say next doesn't matter" I said sipping my drink "she is a great girl." I added.

"With a nasty ass fucking attitude" Jordan said.

"You ever had a conversation with her." He shook his head "okay then." They all stared at me.

"She def was my best friend, now she don't talk to a nigga and I miss her everyday" Josh said and we all laughed "before her dad died we used to hang out all the time. Her dad and my dad were best friends. Her dad passed and after a couple of years she just faded into her own little bubble. She cool though, she mind her business and stay out the way. She don't do shit to nobody well ninth grade she was electricity, just shocking everybody." They all nodded.

"After fourth grade she started acting weird and she started getting bigger and-" Jordan said shaking his head.

I sighed and decided to leave the conversation before I go off.

"You ready to dance?" she nodded and sat her cup down and led me to the dance floor.

She started feeling the music and she took control. I just followed her movement and then she started winding on me and I grind my body forward.

"You are good at this new boy" she turned around and I chuckled. "Thought I was gonna have to teach you." She smirked.

"Ain't nothing you can teach me that I don't know ma" she laughed and bit her lip and her eyes were low.

"Well I highly doubt that Jamal." I kissed my teeth.

"How about you show me what you think I don't know" I whispered in her ear.

She grabbed my hand and we made our way upstairs.

Joi POV

"No but I always liked him." Brianna said as I laughed.

We were in my room talking about our school. She is telling me about Joshua and how behind closed doors she is on her top but in public he acts like he doesn't know her.

"If he really likes you that much he wouldn't care what other people think. Just talk to him about how it makes you because Joshua is a nice person deep down but his image means a lot to him as well and his world WE don't fit. Which is such bullshit." She nodded.

"So who do you like?" She laid back in my bed and I laid back, laying my head on her stomach.

"I don't really like anyone really." I shrugged and she kissed her lips.
"What about the guy that you were talking to in gym?" She asked and I smiled at the thought of Jamal.

"I don't like him, he is just a cool person that's it. He has a great energy around him." She sighed and laughed "what?" I asked sitting up.

"Nothing." She said sitting up and laughing "nothing at all." I kissed my teeth.

"I don't like him okay." She shrugged and I sighed "he is just nice to me that is all. I can't like him because he will disappoint me and then I- I just can't allow myself to even fall for the trap again." I sighed and remembered what happened in ninth grade.

"I understand where you are coming from but still you can't let what some asshole did two years ago define you whole life. You are beautiful and if he doesn't see it I don't know what is wrong with him. You are awesome and once you stop being so mean you will find the right one." She laughed a little.

"You hungry?" I asked about changing the subject.

"Hell yeah!" She jumped up and I laughed. "I am always down for a good ass meal." I got up and we went downstairs.
