you just recently moved to the neighborhood. your parent(s) wanted you
out of the way while they transferred everything from the moving truck to
your new house, so while they did that, you explored the neighborhood... hopefully
to find some new friends.
scenario b.
you've been living in your neighborhood for your entire life. and all your
life, there's been a big 'for sale' sign on the house a door down from your own. one day
though, the sign is gone and you come outside to see a family moving in. a kid your age,
upon seeing you, immediately separates from their family and makes their way toward you.
