Everything was cut, your favorite shows, podcasts, morning news brief, and even Youtube videos and Netflix shows just to announce these breaking news as they said

"Good morning, Salvus citizens hope you're doing great, we're afraid to inform you that Salvus is overpopulated so the government decided to end the lives of some citizens to keep life in this city going... The procedures are gonna go as follows: the chip that has been inserted in your body will assign a colored dot on the back of your hand once you're 16 or above.

Green means you'll stay alive.

Red means that a virus will be installed in your body and you'll die within 15 days.

Yellow will be given to twins and they'll have to choose one of them to live.

Blue means that someone gave you their life and they chose to die instead.

Half of the citizens will be killed knowing that all the government workers, agents, army, and police will stay alive to take care of this city...have a great day."

I didn't have to worry about it, all the people I knew including myself had green dots but just all of this didn't sit right. How are we overpopulated and we've been here for just 19 years? I had To investigate this so the time came that I put all my projects aside to see what's wrong... turns out I wasn't the only one investigating.

I..... I think we should break up' tears started to fall on her cheek 'What? Why would you do that?' 'We just have to, Levin...' 'I don't understand' 'It's what's best for both of us, listen to me and do what I say' she said precisely 'But Sara we can..' 'Bye Levin'

she turned off the call, left her phone, went to her room decided to cover her red dot, and replace it with a green one...she didn't want to let anyone know she was dying.
