As I was walking home I was excited. I actually got the job! I wonder though who are the "Cup brothers?" King Dice mentioned that I will perform with them. I'll see them tomorrow anyway so I think I shouldn't waist time.
Time skip-
As I woke up I got ready for the day. After some time i heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened the door to see that there were two people Infront of the door.
They have cups for heads or rather one had a cup for a head and the other had a mug for a head. "Hey , we were sent here by King Dice to plan together the performance we will be doing..." The one with a mug for a head said twirling his fingers, he seems nervous or maybe shy.
" Oh right! I'm Mugman and this is my brother Cuphead." " heya" said Cuphead.
"My name is Y/n. Come in so we can plan things out" i said as I let them in. They sat down. " Hey before we start do you want anything?" I said as I was going to the kitchen for some water.
"No thanks." Said Mugman and Cuphead. " Ok then let's start." We star planning the performance step by step. We were sure that it was going to be perfect.
Time skip-
17:50/5:50pm
I was at the casino making last touches on my outfit making sure no dust is on it."Ok fellas you planned the performance and now you just have to execute them. Show me what you got!"
We began our performance. It was perfect every step everything we planned was achieved. I sang like this was my last song. After the performance we bow. King Dice clapped slowly "That was .... I beautiful performance. I didn't know someone can actually get mug and cup to actually do there job." Said King Dice chuckling on the last sentence.
I felt warm inside and my heart was beating fast. " You can go now Cuphead same with you Mugman." 'What' I was nervous me and King Dice alone!? Is he trying to tell me something. Cuphead and Mugman left.
"You did a great job darlin'. Tomorrow you have a performance.This time you will be doing it alone. You can sing any song you want." Said King Dice. "Anyhow, it's late you should be going. You wouldn't want to be tired now would you darlin'?"
"Right I'll be going now. Goodbye King Dice" "Bye Darlin'."
As i was going home i realized 'wait..... Am i blushing!? Do i like him , no i must be overthinking right?' I got home thoughts racing through mind. Closing my door and locking it.
