"Hey guys, isn't it Aleks's birthday today?" Kim asked her teammates. She felt like she was forgetting something important but couldn't put a finger on it. The others look dumbfounded as they glance at each other except for the Inviso agent who is not around in the free room. They just got back from a very exhausting training and they haven't seen Aleks return.

"Is it?" Rizka exclaimed in wonder. "I think he's still training on his own." (Y/n) blankly stated after catching a glimpse of him staying behind while the others left. They were too tired to notice him sulking all the time. "Oh poor him, he must be sad for not celebrating his birthday... Why don't we hold a small party tonight!?" Kim happily suggested.

"Sounds like a perfect plan since Kim loves musics and parties, she can set up the room in no time." Sam said, liking the idea for his friend. "Then me and (Y/n) will make our traditional Chicken Rendang. Right (N/n)?" Rizka slings her arm harshly around the emotionless (h/c)-nette with a proud grin. Despite the aggressive affection she had, the girl hissed. Still not used to her physical touch after 3 years.

"Oh, no you won't! She's with me on baking cakes and that's final." He pulls (Y/n) by the waist which she yelps in return. Sam knew Rizka's intention was to spend some quality time with her and him being himself won't allow that to happen. So the duo glare at each other like siblings, fighting over their crush. The other Neuro agent sighed in irritation as she slipped out of their grasp and left them to argue.

"(Y/n), wait!!" Kim catches up with her. "Why don't you take Aleks out while we prepare for the party? I don't trust those two fighting in the kitchen over you. You know how troublesome it was the last time." She grimaced at the time when they almost burned the whole kitchen and (Y/n) had to find Kim and Aleks to deal with the situation. "Hmm, sure. I guess?" (Y/n) coldly agreed. "Great! And oh, buy me some curry puffs, please?" She added and (Y/n) just nodded in response before going off to find the birthday boy.

There he is, practising his immense speediness and stamina. He looked more devastated than ever. He seems to be focused and doesn't seem to care if anyone comes. "Aleks, that's enough." (Y/n) approaches him with a genuine concern but he ignored her completely. The (h/c)-nette sighed again and stood somewhere at the sideline. He didn't complain and continued his training.

Silence engulfed the atmosphere except for the sounds of various obstacle machines are heard yet it wasn't awkward. "Wanna race?" He halted in his tracks and looked at her confused but indicates her to go on. "If I lose, you have to stop whatever you're doing." She declared, emphasizing the word of lose.

Aleks's well built body was in full of shocked but not so surprised since she's truly unpredictable. That's why he didn't understand her. He just couldn't. Does the unmatched Agent (Y/n) who is cold and emotionless wishes to lose? Aleks knew her since the start of their academy training and he still couldn't read her motives.

But hey, what a rare opportunity. He agreed nonetheless. 'A challenge would be nice' At least that's what he thought.

Standing on a beeline to the starting point, the last countdown echoes the environment which alarmed them to sprint off in action. Aleks wasted no time activating his magnetic suit to jump through the obstacles with (Y/n) hot on trails.
