Murderer of the Rain

The miscallaneous sound

Soothing my fear.

All around me,

The rain, I hear.

I stand calm

At my house in the rain.

Here, I take refuge

From all of my pain.

I allow the water

To flow over me;

Cleansing me

Of impurity.

I soon became drenched;

The release made me lean!

My dark deeds repaid;

My wrong acts rinsed clean.

"Never again", I thought,

"Will I commit such a shame;

To murder a child

Of innocent frame..."

I took the knife,

In my kitchen, it was,

And shoved it in,

Without a fuss.
