It was long day for bethany.

Bethany Williams like any other girl in her late 20's,who were either married,engaged or living happily with their better halves.She was very much single and definitely not ready to mingle.

"Ma,I'm really tired, I had long day and we do this choosing the groom thing tomorrow? Please, ma" said beth as she was ascending towards the stairs.

"Beth,beta! You just can't run away from arrange marriage,I will find you a very handsome and good indian boy."said her mother annoyingly.

Bethany's mother Anjali was indian and her dad is american, which makes her half of each.

"It seems like it's not my marriage but my nani's and maasi's ! God I so hate my mom's family sometimes "said beth as she closed her rooms door and jumped into the bed.

"Hello" said the other side on the line,a very mature, strong, commanding voice that can make any girl drop her panties at his command.

"Hello,yes?",said bethany being very cautious.

"Are you bethany Williams?",said the man,beth loved the way her named rolled in his tongue.

"Y..yes! That would be me,how can I help you?"said Beth.

"Actually you can't well I just want to tell you that I can't marry you,and that you should tell your mother that you can't marry me because you like someone else", said the gorgeous voiced man.

"I am Richard Harrison, who wouldn't know ne but I definitely know you,why don't we meet over for coffee tomorrow and I tell you,would that be okay for you?" He asked.

"I need to call maggie",saying this beth jumped out of her bed and went outside to her balcony.

*after the conversation*

"Omg! Beth the way you described me that Richards voice, he sure sounds drop dead handsome "said maggie giggling like a teenager.

"Really? Maggie, I tell you my dilemma and you tell me about that arrogant man"

"Come on, beth just go and meet him and we will discuss tomorrow about how arrogant he is,never judge a book by its cover."

"Will you please come with me tomorrow, and should I ask ma first,??.."

"Smarty pants,GROW up! I am not coming with you and you are definitely not asking your mom about this"

"No buts...you are young and beautiful and smart now go and meet that jackass of a guy and beat the shit outta him."

That's the reason why I love maggie so much,she shows she doesn't care but I know deep down she loves and cares for me a lot.

I have known Maggie since elementary school we literally grew up together. My mother actually asked me in high school if I was lesbian and maggie was my partner. I laughed and left her unanswered.Two days later,she got a report from the doctor saying she had hide BP,then I told her to stop worrying about me,and told her that I am straight,she hugged the hell out of me that day.

I laughed at the memory of it.

After a long hot bath, I sat down on my bed in my pj's and laptop.

I typed Richard Harrison in the search bar and insantly I saw a beautiful face in front of me.

I blinked once again.

He is hot my subconscious mind whispered.

In the picture he was laughing his heart out and his eyes had the glint of mischief on it and his settle jawline was perfect and his hair, oh my the fuck-me-now hair, he was just too handsome to be true.

The half Indian caught my eye and that's it I knew this had to do something with my mom's family.
