*Shuffling and loud footsteps*

The sound of rattling follows as a creature rushes through the wilderness. The deep depths of the forest is no place to be alone in, yet this creature has been living free since forever. Sooner or later silence breaks as the creature comes across the flowing water, known as a river.

"Gotcha!" The creature says as it impales a fish that was once swimming before that moment.

The creature steps into the water to grab the fish, revealing its reflection. A young women, whom is about 19 years old, is shown at the other end. Yet that woman does not have ears nor a tail. Continuing her hunt, by the end of the day, she arrives back at her camping spot with a bag full of cod.

"Thank god i'm back! I'm starving!!" The woman says as she starts setting up the fire and the cooking stick.

As she was preparing her meal for the night, a strange crack comes from behind the bushes near by.

"Who's there!?" She exclaims "Hello?"

A moment of silence surrounds the area before a loud growl shoots out as a wolf, half the size of the woman, comes out. Teeth shown and drool drips, you can tell this beast is looking for a meal, and they have found it. The wolf starts to huff and growl louder as it slowly steps closer, each step it takes, the woman takes a step back.

The wolf was about to leap forward until the woman spoke "Hey, hey... you don't have to do this.. please don't hurt me, take the fish instead!"

The wolf ignores the woman and leaps forward to attack. Growls and the sound of something being ripped apart until you hear a chuckle from the sidelines.

"See what I did there? I totally avoided your attack."

The wolf turns around and you can see the rage in it's eyes, it was getting more angry the longer it took to feast. But something strange happened.. the woman got down on her knees, at eye level to the wolf, and stared into the eyes of the wolf. The creature was taken back by what the woman was doing, yet had an urge to back down and no longer fight.

"I don't want to hurt you, or want to fight you." The woman says calmly as she reaches her hand out to pet the furry beast.

The wolf gives in and starts getting patted by the lady, feeling relaxed as the wolf no longer feels the need to harm this human.

"I know you can't talk but the names Kacey!" She smiles continuing to pet the wolf "I don't know if you understand what I'm saying but is there any way for you to tell me your name?"

The wolf perks up, wagging its tail as it runs away through the bushes. Minutes pass, leaving Kacey hopeless until the creature comes back with a thin stick in its mouth. Walking to the dirt area of the ground, the wolf starts writing out its name.

"T..... I.... K..... I.... Tiki!!" The woman shouts.

The wolves head lifts up, it's tails wagging as it runs around happily. They spend hours together, like if an owner were to play with its pet dog. But sadly it came to an end. The wolf gets up from them laying together and starts walking away from the camp site.

Kacey perks her head up "Wait. Where are you going?"

The wolf turns its head towards Kacey and then back to the forest.

"Ooh, you have a family to get back to right?"

Tiki nods her head and continues to walk.

"I hope to see you again Tiki!"

Still walking in away, Kacey had lost the wolf figure to the darkness and sighed.

She thought to herself 'Do I tell her I know? But I don't want to scare her. Besides.. I don't look like one of them, so it will catch her off guard.'

Leaving her with her thoughts, she dozes off as the night continues.
