"No sign of the other clans or any foxes." Moonfire said as she swished her tail and sniffed the bushes.
"Yeah, you're right." Darkfeather told her. "It's kinda weird."
Moonfire nodded gravely. "Yeah."
"Starlingpaw, Minnowpaw, you two stay put." Aldercloud told the two apprentices. "Don't go anywhere."
After the three warriors left, Minnowpaw looked at Starlingpaw in delight.
Starlingpaw hesitated, scraping her paw on the dirt. "Well... uh... what if we get in trouble?"
Minnowpaw nudged Starlingpaw playfully. "Oh, come on! It'll be fun!"
Starlingpaw looked at her and nodded firmly. "Alright. Let's go."
