-knockout's pov-
I woke up feeling something on my tank I looked down to notice breakdown's hand on my tank. I found it cute, it's like he's protecting the sparkling I kissed his helm and I carefully moved his hand off and i began my morning things and I heard breakdown waking up and I walk over to him and kissed his helm once again " someone is in a loving mood" he laughed "no your just lucky" I answered breakdown stood up and wrapped his arms around me and I heard him mumble "I'll protect you no matter what" and breakdown got on his knees "what are you doing?" I said confused and breakdown put his hand on my tank, then he kissed my tank. "You better be easy on your carrier" I was starting to get emotional and tears started to come. Breakdown look up and got up then hugged me "did I do something?! What's wrong?!" I look at him wiping my tears " no, you were just being so cute" breakdown started to blush "no! I'm not cute!" I look at him " totally" I walked off but I heard breakdown following behind but I didn't mind.

- 2 hours later-

-knockouts pov-
I was cleaning up the medical room and I heard someone walk in. breakdown get in front of me in a protective way.
" Primus would you get him away from me?!" Starscream yelled, I sighed. " get away from knockout!" Oh no "breakdown it's fine! He's not gonna do anything. Starscream what do you need?" I asked " megatron needs you" I looked at breakdown " we should go then" we walked down the hall then I felt something touch my legs and before I could react I was in breakdowns arms "I'm not letting you walk all the way, it's too far." I laughed "you are being so protective!" Breakdown looked down " you are the one carrying our sparkling after all" " okay okay you win" I said. I looked over to see megatron waiting on us. "You need us, lord megatron?" Breakdown said while he put me down " I'm sending you two go extract energon from a energon mine we had discovered. Now go!" Scrap. " come on knockout we can be quick" Soundwave opened a ground bridge and we both walked through. The equipment we needed was already there. " welp I guess we should start working" I said

-1 hour later-

-knockouts pov-
"Finally we're done" I said leaning on the wall of the cave. Breakdown walked over and hugged me " we should hurry" he said picking me up but our moment wasn't going to last forever "well well look who it is" we both looked up to be bulkhead and the other autobots "scrap" breakdown quickly put me back down and started to shoot at them " DONT YOU DARE GET NEAR KNOCKOUT!!" I was hiding behind breakdown then I saw a spot where we could get out " breakdown come on!" I ran past the autobots and breakdown followed behind but my luck had ran out and the femme knocked me to the ground "OUCH" I yelled I had landed on my front side mainly my tank and I felt a sharp pain go through my body and I groaned in pain but the I looked up to see breakdown in a rage " YOU NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!" I hurried and called into base "knockout to base we need a ground bridge right now!" I seen a ground bridge behind us and I yelled for breakdown and we ran through with everything.
I started to feel dizzy when I stepped forward and everything went black. I woke up a while later. " what happened?" I asked
" thank Primus you woke up! I did a scan on you and luckily the sparkling and yourself aren't injured" I felt relieved so hear that " thanks to you, my protector" I got up and hugged breakdown. He was embarrassed but we walked back to our room. I sat down on our breth and sighed. Breakdown kissed my tank and he quietly said "goodnight my little trouble maker" and we both laid down and fell asleep.
