Jolyne Cujoh X Reader: Dinner Date

Here we go, here is my first chapter and it is my anime crush, Jolyne Cujoh from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure!

I just got off work and was heading home when I got a text, 'Hey babe, ready for tonight?'

'Of course! I can't wait to see your beautiful face (:' I responded.

After a few more minutes of driving I finally reached the apartment complex where me and my girlfriend were living. It was a nice place that was well managed and our neighbors were very nice and supportive, they didn't care if me and Jolyne were lesbians or not. Of course that didn't mean all of them liked us, there were a few that didn't support our lifestyle, but that didn't matter because love wins.

After parking my car in the parking lot I got and walked through the front door of the building and into the main lobby. I greeted some of my neighbors who were out grabbing their mail whilst also getting mine before heading upstairs to me and Jolyne's shared apartment.

Once I got to the right floor I walked to my front door and headed inside to be greeted to the sound of the TV and a burning smell coming from the kitchen. Slightly concerned, I walked into the kitchen to be greeted with the sight of Jolyne pulling something off the stove in a hurry to try not to burn it. Keyword tried.

"Hey babe, how's it going?" I asked.

"Well it could be better. I'm currently struggling with this pasta, I really don't think it likes me." She responded.

I walked over to her and the "pasta" (if you could even call it that at this point) and looked at it. After a moment or two of just looking I decided to get a fork and try a bite of the noodles. Let's just say that they were a little too overcooked for my liking.

"Sorry babe, I really wanted to make tonight special for you, especially since I promised a special dinner date where I cooked." Jolyne told me, her voice laced with sadness.

"It's ok JoJo, I appreciate the effort and I know how much you care. How about this," I said, trying to make her feel better, "we go to McDonalds and get some chicken nuggies. That'll make you feel better and provide us with dinner tonight."

"Ok, if that will make you happy. All I want is for my (Y/N) to be happy." She replied.

After throwing the pasta away, we grabbed our keys and walked out the door and through the building to the outside. We walked to my car and Jolyne drove us down to McDonald's and through the driver. After waiting a few moments we finally order our nuggies and waited to receive them. Once we got them we went over to the parking lot and sat there and enjoyed each other's company and our food.

"Thanks for buying me some nuggets." I told Jolyne.

"It was the least I could do after ruining our date tonight." She responded.

"You didn't ruin anything. I appreciate the effort 100%. Plus you made it up to me just now. All I truly want is to be with you, that's when I'm happiest." I responded.

"I love you." She said.

"Love you too." I said back, pulling her into a sweet and soft kiss.
