Chapter 6

Luis came home from the office.  Lia cooked dinner for Luis and she was happy when the doorbell rang. She quickly opened the door.

" Good evening! " She happily greeted Luis. He ignores her but she's determined to help and serve him.

Luis sat in the chair near their door to take off his shoes and change into household slippers.

Lia saw this so she immediately bent down and helped Luis take off his shoes.  Luis' eyebrows immediately met, he grabbed his foot and forcely removed his shoes and socks. Lia backed away in shock.

" Stay away. I don't need your help. Don't act like a perfect wife when you are not. " He said

She didn't listen and smiled a little bit.

" I made dinner for you. Take your dinner. " She said 

He ignored what Lia said and went upstairs. 

He stopped and said " I'm already eaten. Just throw it in the trash. I don't need it. "

Disappointed she looked at Luis and took a deep breath

She was about to enter her room when she heard Luis shout her name. She ran fast to Luis' room, and Luis ' room immediately opened.

" What did you do to my favorite t-shirt?! " She almost jumped at Luis' shout.  He was furious and showed his favorite cloth with stains. 

" I'm sorry I didn't notice. I'll fix it! " She panicked 

" Are you stupid?  How do you fix it, it's so broken!" He pulled Lia by the hand and covered the dress with her face.  Lia struggled to cry. He was still not satisfied and fed her the clothes.

"It’s not just my t–shirt that you broke. You even soiled my white polo! " He forcefully grabbed her hair and made her look at him

" I'm hurt Luis! I didn't accidentally ruin your clothes. Please let go of my hair, ahhh!" She cry

" Shout up, witch. The next time you destroy my clothes you will be panish by me!"

" Understood?! "

She nodded her head. " Good! " He said. 

He hung up Lia's hair.  He looked at Lia in disgust. Lia slammed the door.

" I'm sick of your face and your stupidity! You did nothing right.  I hope your father takes you back! "

She looked at him and said " I hope so! "

Luis laughed "  Of course that won't happen.  Your father only wants money!  That's why you're here right? "

She can't answer him. Luis' words hit her hard. He's Right, she bowed her head and cried silently.

" You are just like your father. You are after my money! Gold digger." 

" I am not! I don't care about your money! " She fights back, she can't hold her anger. She's not a gold digger. 

" Don't fool me woman. Your father's blood flows in your blood. " He said and gently touched her face.

" Don't deny it because no matter what you say, you're just the same as your father! " He held Lia's face tightly " Remember that! "

He pushes her and closes his door. 

She faintly leaned against the wall. Tears kept flowing down her face.

" Stop crying Lia. You can get through this. 

She stayed there for a minute, kept saying that she could get through this. 

She weakly walks to her bed. " Will it always be like this?  Will I just go into my room crying? "

When will he be kind to me?  I'm already in pain.

I woke up as if nothing had happened. I prefer his breakfast and his lunch box. 

Luis went downstairs wearing his office attire. She smiles and greets him with " Good morning." 

Luis sat down at the table.  Lia immediately handed over her coffee.  Luis didn't speak, he focused on his cellphone.

She left so he could eat.  She was afraid that he might get angry with her again.

" Reese Dahlia! "

She had not gone far when she heard her name immediately.  Her heart pounded in fear.  She knows this scene very well, when he shouts it means she has done something wrong again.

She rushed to Luis. Her eyes grew bigger and her mouth turned letter O in shock. 

She was screaming in the heat.  Luis threw the coffee on his chest.  She looked at Luis in shock and couldn't believe it.

She looked at her wet clothes. It's so hot that she thinks it will burn her skin. 

" You are so stupid. Your coffee blend is tasteless.  I told you I don't like bitter! " He shouted at her. She's still in shock, she couldn't believe that Luis was even worse.

" Are you that bad? Just because I made a mistake, you immediately threw me hot coffee." She's so mad

Luis couldn't speak. He just stands there and watches her. 

" It's hot. Are you happy? You hurt me again. You almost burned my skin! "

" I can still make you one. You don't need to throw me a hot coffee! " 

" How pitiful. When I first saw you I thought you were a man but I was wrong, you are a big boy! " 

Luis said nothing.  He just stared at the woman's angry face.

She was crying in pain.  She could feel the heat at the height of her chest. She left  Luis and went up to her room.

She immediately removed her clothes and went to the bathroom to check her burned skin. She's thankful nothing happened to her skin, her white skin only turned red.

She cleans it and massages it with aloe vera. I hope it can help remove the redness.
