A LAUGH ESCAPED THE COPPER-HAIRED AGENT'S MOUTH, her eyes gleaming with amusement as she threw a pen over the dividing wall of the desks, straight at Derek Morgan. She was leaning back against her desk chair, her legs propped up on her desk with a cup of lukewarm coffee in one hand, her other had once been spinning the pen she had just launched. "I can't believe you hid her cup! No wonder she was all grumpy this morning!"

Derek grinned at her as he dodged the flying pen, a chuckle escaping him as he showed off the familiar yellow mug that usually sat in the hands of none other than Miss Penelope Garcia.

Spencer Reid rolled his eyes, a smile playing on his lips from where he sat on Arabella's right, his eyes unwavering from the intense chess game he was playing with himself. "Garcia is going to murder you when she figures out you took her cup." The boy genius commented and Morgan raised an eyebrow.

"Not if you don't snitch on me, Reid." Morgan stated and Spencer scoffed, looking up from his chess board for no more than five seconds to give the older, charming agent a look. "I don't need to, Morgan. She's the technical analyst, she's going to hack the cameras." The boy genius pointed out, sliding the white rook gracefully across the board.

"He, as usual, is right. She's most likely hacking into the security footage as we speak." Ara pointed out with an expectant look and Morgan froze as he thought about his possibility of surviving. "I didn't think about that." Derek stated and the two younger agents laughed before the door to the bullpen flew open and an eight-year-old boy walked in.

"Bell!" The boy exclaimed, causing the copper-haired agent to look up in surprise at the sight of her younger brother walking through the door. Of course, Jayden Carson was a frequent visitor to the BAU, as Penelope Garcia was his caretaker whenever Ara and Kal were at work, however, the boy was supposed to have plans. "Hey, Jay. I thought Kal was supposed to pick you up?" Ara stated in confusion and the boy shrugged as he walked over.

"He got called in for an emergency surgery at work, he said he'd call you." Jay explained and the older Carson nodded as she gave him a brief hug. "Okay, kiddo." She shrugged before sneakily grabbing a lollipop from across Morgan's desk— where his candy jar sat— and passing it to the kid, who pocketed it with a grin.

"Hey, Spencer. What's up, Morgan." The boy then greeted the two men who looked up, Spencer giving the child a warm smile and wave before diverting his attention back to the board as Morgan grinned at the youngest Carson child.

"Hey, kid. How's school goin', Liam still causing trouble?" Derek greeted, holding his fist out, and Jayden grinned as he bumped his own, smaller fist against the charming agent's bigger one in a fist bump.

"Liam has a crush on Samantha Holson, right? So he got jealous because Samantha was helping Keith out with his maths and tried to start a fight with Keith but Keith is dating Lucy and I hate school." Jayden grumbled causing Derek to chuckle at the innocence of elementary school drama.
