The dragon king groaned as he ran a hand down his face. He grumbled, "You're kidding me? You're fucking kidding me?! She complains that there's no small library in her room?! I thought her kingdom doesn't like it when women do things!!"
"Well, things have changed, Bakugou," his right-hand guard said. "Plus, the queen did say she was a loner due to the fact she likes to read and has anxiety. Social anxiety to be exact." The king stopped and thought to himself 'My future wife has anxiety??..'
"Uh, sire," the chef nervously said. The king whipped his head around and scowled at the chef to which the chef squeaked.
"I-I just wanted to let his highness know that your dragon's dinner and your dinner is done," the chef said. The king nodded and ordered, "Then have the stable person feed her. He can't do it herself." He began to walk to the dining room. He stopped and looked at his red-headed guard and said, "Shitty hair, tell the blue princess it's time to eat." The guard smiled and nodded as he said "My hair isn't that different from yours!"
      "OH SHUT UP!!"
-

The king waited, his leg bouncing up and down. He waited and waited for her, getting irritated.
"What is taking so long?" he grumbled to himself. As soon as he said that, he heard heels clicking against the tiled floor and the voices of 2 of his guards and his future wife. He scoffed and mumbled, "Finally." He stood and when he saw the princess, he was breathless. The blue dress made specifically for her fit her perfectly (as expected),  the top part fit her torso perfectly and the skirt portion brushed against the floor as it was a bit too long for her, and the silk off-the-shoulder collar was perfectly fit against her shoulders and the silk blue gloves fit her arms just right.

"I feel stupid. Why couldn't I have worn my other dress?" the princess whispered to the pink-haired guard. "I'm gonna feel bad if I get food on this!" The king listened to her rambling as she wasn't so quiet. The king cleared his throat and the princess looked at him again. He saw the light blush and light blue eyeshadow clearly now.
'Damn it, pinky!!' the king thought to himself with a light blush.
"H-hi..." the princess said, looking down at the ground. The king replied with a "Hm." The silence and atmosphere was so thick you could cut it with a knife. The young king then pulled out a chair for the princess and said "C'mon. Sit." The princess nodded and sat down on the red cushioned dining table chair. The king took his seat and well the silence came back. The guards waited for something until they realized their king had no idea what to do. They gave each other a smile and nodded. The first one to help him was the red-headed guard.
"Ask her what her name is! Ya know, try to build up a conversation!" the guard whispered. The king made a "tch" sound which caught the princess's attention. The king cleared his throat and asked "So, names."
"What about them?" the princess asked softly.
"I want yours," the king said. He facepalmed when he realized what he said made absolutely no sense. However, the princess giggled a bit and asked, "You wanna know my name?" The king nodded with a slight angry pout.
"It's Akira," the princess said with a light smile.
      "Cool."
      Silence.
"Aren't you gonna tell me your name now?" Akira asked with a slight chuckle.
"Tch. Why should I tell you?" the king scoffed. Akira's smile fell and replied, "Because it's usually the response when someone tells you their name?? Plus, I can't just call you 'my future husband, The Dragon King' or 'my husband, The Dragon King'. People will just assume that's your name. People who don't know you anyway." The king made his "tch" sound again. The red-headed guard facepalmed and when he and the king made eye contact, he motioned to tell her his name.
      "Katsuki."
"Huh?" Akira asked looking at him.
"My name. It's Katsuki," he grumbled. Akira smiled softly again and said, "I like that name. It sounds like victory or number 1. Like this one character in the book 'Tale of Two Dragons'! Oh, I loved that book! I especially loved the part where-"
"Melfina and Katlyn confessed their love for each other only to find out their kingdoms needed a marriage to combine their families," Akira and Katsuki said at the same time. Akira blushed softly. She cleared her throat and said "M-maybe they have it at the town's library. I would've brought it with me but my mother said no." Katsuki nodded. Anytime the silence came back, the guards were always there to help Katsuki.

-

After dinner, Katsuki made his way to the library and made sure no one was following him. He opened a door and slipped inside. He walked around and grabbed "Tale of Two Dragons". He walked to the table and lit the candle there. He opened it and began to read it. 2 hours passed, Katsuki was still reading. He got to the part Melfina, a princess of the Dragons, is stabbed by the main antagonist. He reads the words on the book slowly, fighting back the tears that filled his eyes. He knows that Melfina makes it out alive but that part still gets to him. He reads a line that made him close the book:
[IC]"Melfina!! Don't go! Don't you get it?! I've loved you! I always have!!" Katlyn exclaimed, tears spilling from her eyes.
Katsuki put the book up and wiped the tear from his cheek. He tried so hard to forget his parents' death. But that part always brought back that memory. He was so young too. He took a while to calm down and he finally blew out the candle and walked out of the library.

-

That night, he was plagued with nightmares. It wasn't an unusual thing. He's had them ever since his parents had died. But this night was... worse. The young king gripped the sheets from fear. He woke up and sat up in a cold sweat. He started panting slower and slower as he looked at the surroundings around him, helping him remember he was in his bedroom. He ran a hand through his spikey hair. He got up and got his clothes on. He walked downstairs and outside. He went to his dragon, Missle Launcher (or Missy as he calls her), and pet her soft red scales.
"Hey, girl," he softly said. "Can't sleep well either huh?" The dragon puffed out a small cloud of smoke from her nose.
"Yeah I know." Katsuki rubbed her soft scales as he said, "That new princess it different than the others huh?"

-

Morning came and Katsuki was asleep in his bed again. He woke up when the sound of knocking came. He groaned and sat up.
"Yeah, yeah. Hold on," Katsuki grumbled. He opened the door and saw Akira standing there with a try in her hands. She looked away when she saw Katsuki shirtless and stammered "I-I noticed you missed breakfast s-so I made you some m-m-myself. God, can you put a shirt on?"
"No," he said as he took the tray.
"Well, your welcome for the breakfast," Akira said. "Bye!" She speed walked away with a bright and obvious blush on her face. Katsuki smirked a closed the door. He sat on his bed and smiled softly.
'She took the initiative to make you breakfast Bakugou,' he thought to himself. 'Don't lose this one. Can't have another one stand you up at the alter.' He ate a bite and chuckled to himself and said "God this is bad." He continued to eat it anyways. He knew that this little princess would change his world forever.
