I wake up to my light turned on the lowest the dimmer goes. I look at my phone 10 messages, 5 Facebook messages, 3 missed calls, and 27 Instagram notifications. then i look up at the time to realize i have 2 more hours until i have to wake up at 6:30. After i toss and turn to get comfortable I finally start to go to sleep.

I wake up and I go into the bathroom look at our clock it's 6:15 I can take a 15 minute shower blow dry my hair, be able to straighten the ends of my hair, do my make up and the rest of my hygiene.

I get in the shower wash my hair and body then turn the water off. I get dressed in my dark skinny jeans and red black and white flannel. Then I blow dry my hair. After I finished I got my phone out of my room and turned on You're Beautiful By: James Blunt. I brushed my teeth and hair again and I put Maybellines dream matte mouse, eyeliner, and mascara on and I straightened my hair I was finished.

I went in the kitchen got the coco pebbles down and made some cereal. I finished eating and I have 30 minutes before I have to be at school.

I went on with my daily routine and went to Starbucks. While i was in line I was texting Katelyn asking if she needed a ride she said yes. I got 2 vanilla bean frappicino. I get to Katelyn's house and I knock on the door she's crying.

"Katelyn what's wrong?!" I asked.

"My dads in the hospital" she cries.

"Katelyn I'm so sorry what happened?!" I yelled

"His kidneys" she she said softly

"katelyn I'm so sorry do you want to stay at my house for a while?" I offer

"Yeah. Will grandma mind?" She calls my grandma her own grandma because we are practically sisters we've been best friends for 9 years.

"she wont care lets get in the car and i will call her." After i tell her what's happening she is okay with her staying as long as she needs too.

we arrive at school and the first few hours go by but in 3rd hour which is biology 2. we get assigned a project and we have assigned partners as well. she calls everybody and then she gets to my name

"Lexi Simmons you are with Kadyn Wilcox." Mrs Hill says.

well it looks like I have a reason now to hangout with Kadyn. Mrs. Hill satrts talking about how we have the next month to work on our project becuase in April we have to turn it in at the end of the month. our project is researching scientists that have made a huge difference in the scientific world and the paper has to be at least 150 pages and the power point must have 60 slides or more but if you have an A of at least one partner does then you only have to have a 80 page 35 slide project. we get in our partners and we start researching.

"Hey Lex?" kadyn asked

"yes?" I asked

"do you want to just do this at my house?" he replied

"yeah, but won't your girlfriend get mad and want to fight me again?" I asked

"Lex, it's not like that we aren't dating anymore and that's the past she has matured maybe you should try if sometime and quit dwelling on the past because that's what you and me are." He says

" are you freaking kidding me? you are a selfish confused little baby that can't just accept that your "girl" is going to find someone in Texas and forget about you! but you know I won't be there for you anymore because I'm so immature!" I yelled.

"Lexi I'm sorry you know I didn't mean that. it's just I'm upset about Kenzie leaving its just so hard I'm sorry for being a douche." he apologized sincerely at least I hope he is sorry.

"it's fine." I said angrily. "am I still coming over?" I asked

"yeah just meet me there my parents wont be there though." he said
"that's okay."
