Kai was playing video games.... as usual. Thats what most of his free time was spent. He loved to see himself beat his own score every time. It was satisfying.
And besides, it helps him keep his mind off of... a certain crush of his. Although he constantly denies it. He doesnt want anyone to know he likes him....
And he doesnt want himself to know. Its like his subconscious constantly fights his feelings. He was fine with that though. It helps prevent problems in battle.
Kai groans as the game suddenly turns itself off. "What the hell??" He turns and sees Master Wu holding the plug to the console. "I should've known it was you..." he complained.
"Hmm..." Wu said, stroking his beard. "Well, maybe you should be training."
"Come on, sensei, I dont need training!! If anything happens, then I will be ready."
"Is that so?" Wu questioned, walking over. "Well, in my opinion, you've gone soft." He poked at kai's stomache.
"H-hey!!" Kai jumped back with a scowl on his face.
"Go to the dojo. Your Teammates are waiting for you."
Kai groaned as he reluctantly walked out of the game room and into the dojo.
As Kai walked in though... he saw him. Well, of course he did, he is his teammate after all, but still. It made Kai's heart skip a beat. Cole waved at him with a smile and it made Kai's heart melt.
Darn it... why do I keep getting this weird feeling... He thought. He tried to shrug it off, and pull himself back to reality. A reality where everyone was staring at him with a confused and worried expression.
"Kai, you good?" Nya asked her brother.
"Huh?" Kai said, shaking his head. "Y-yeah, sorry, just deep in thought." He smiled and walked to his place as Wu walked in.
"All right, young pupils, shall we start?" He asked.

Hey, mortals. Sorry this chapter was pretty short. I just had to figure out how to start this. By the way, this story was suggested by my little brother, TheRedHawk.
