CHAPTER 40

Unknown's PoV

Chaeyoung take a deep breath before entering the café where he asked to see Mina. It was his mother's café where Mina used to work before, but he still feels uneasy and uptight at the moment.

"Goodmorning!" He was surprised when he saw Mina. He didn't expect to see her more early. "It seems like you were really surprised. I wanna know what your decision is."

"Uhm, Mina, let's take a seat first." Chaeyoung then take his seat as well as Mina.

"You can tell me now. There's nothing to waste time with," Mina said emotionlessly.

"Mina, this is for the sake of the company, ok? It's—"

"I know, I'm willing to help. It's not something personal, it is for general revenue for everyone not for my self. Better be wise in your actions, go ahead," Mina interrupted.

Chaeyoung noticed how Mina just turned very professional and still calm. But seems she changed a lot or he think maybe it's how the way it is.

"Uhm... I'm willing to allow you manage my company and hold funds or shares. If it is really the better thing to do," Chaeyoung twined his hands and take a deep sigh.

"I'm sure it is. I guess this one is the very right decision you did. And apparently, you're going to work for me, you may or may not like it, it doesn't matter." Mina just look at Chaeyoung straight forward.

"Just please treat everyone fair," He requested which Mina responded with a one enough nod.

"No worries, I'll take care everyone kindly," Mina made a vague smile.

They talked about many stuffs, mostly things about the company, paperwork, and so on. Mina had also signed papers to prove she can cause only good to the company for just an entire few months she'll be managing it, as what stated in the written agreement.

"And it's done," Mina uttered handing back the paper to Chaeyoung as well as the fountain pen.

"Thank you, I wish we'll be all in good terms now. I'm glad to get help from you. I'm really grateful," Chaeyoung was supposed to shake hands with Mina but she didn't mind to accept it anyways.

"It is for business purposes. We should act professional in each different ways, and one of the best way is to see people a stranger in work." As Mina speak each and every one of those words, it really hits different to Chaeyoung.

He jus kept on nodding. "Yes, I'll remember that. 'Cause I should."

"Okay, I'll get going now." Mina stood and made her way outside.

"Is it Mina? Am I right?" Chaeyoung then saw his mother sitting opposite to him.

"Yes, she is," he replied and again sighed for the meantime.

"You have to withstand your decisions in life and you'll just gonna wait and see what happens next. You shouldn't get worried." She patted Chaeyoung's shoulder and leave.

"I should withstand this. I really should." Chaeyoung take another deep breath, preparing himself of what should had to happen next.
