You ran as fast as you can, you were tired but you couldn't give up that easily you were already late for Thor's sake, and it's really hard to believe that Mark himself is early
Well Expect the unexpected I guess, you thought as you soon saw a staircase that lead down to the Station
You picked up the phase heading your way down
"Okay.. Woo.." You managed to breath out, as you heavily pant due to the running
As you finally managed to breath normally again, you began to look around
Still roaming and looking for him you suddenly catch a glimpse of his figure
You followed the boy to which he stopped in the middle of the smoking area
You were slowly becoming suspicious, umm.. Mark your smoking now? You thought
But as you were about to hold his shoulder you suddenly felt a hand grabbing your wrist, and you were immediately pulled away from the crowd
You faced the Human who took you and immediately your face turned red in embarrassment
If he's Mark then who is that? You thought and turned around to look at the boy who you thought was Mark
And as the boy turned around you saw a bearded funny looking man, picking his nose while looking around
You immediately giggled, but the giggle didn't last
seeing that someone has the power to look like one of your favorite person,just made you felt like a fool, you smiled and turned to Mark who was tapping his foot impatiently
"What?, it was funny and i thought it was you, well it did kinda look like you.."
"Very funny..and you were 15 minutes late, good thing that the Subway is not gonna show up until 10:00"
"You chuckled sorry, thank you for saving me from embarrassment tho."
"Yeah yeah..Your welcome.." He said looking down at you with a soft smile
Weird..is he always like this?, i think he is just in a good mood, either way this sight is clearly very rare to see, You thought
"Soo.. What's the plan?"
"What?"
"You know the plan?, you were in a rush that time-"
"Hey,didn't I tell you we were just gonna talk about it in the subway?"
"Oh yeah.. Hehe"
Mark playfully rolled his eyes at you,though he didn't expect himself to genuinely smile at you, he immediately covered his mouth trying to hide his stupid smile, or so he thought it was
What?, this wasn't suppose to happen, fuck! He thought while slowly begins to panic
You immediately noticed him, trying to hide his face
"Are you smiling?, like teeth out and everything?"
"What?, no I do not know what you are talking about" he said, his face turning red by the second as he keeps on looking at you
"Really?.." You said while raising one of your eyebrows while smiling, teasing him
"Ummm..No it was an exercise smile!" He snapped still hiding his mouth
you tilted your head in confusion
"Y-Yes! Infact this smile isn't for you,im just practicing for Cassie on our first date.. yeah!"
His words felt like he was about to betray you for another, and this bad act of his bothered you
You then forced yourself to smile, not wanting to ruin his good mood
"Oh-oh okay..well im your wing woman then!"
Why,did i say that oh crap,why did i say that? Wait when did i care?..Of course i care. I dont want to lose another friend,i guess i'll watch my mouth from now on.. He thought feeling a little guilty about what he said
"Oh yeah,cool!"
"yeah..heh"
Then an awkward silence fell between the both of you.. ________________________________________
Time Skip.. ________________________________________
"So were now at the subway, what's your plan?" You said
The train was now moving and was now headed to Bill City
"Hmm..Why dont we check a hotel first?,we don't want to sleep outside right?"
"Hmm good point, after that can we go to a carnival?, i heard that the place there is awesome!"
"Sure, then we can ride it, like in one of the movies Pirates of the Carribean!.."
"yeah, Pirates!"
"We are so gonna have the best time of our lives Mark", you said looking at him with a closed eyed smile
"Yeah, it will be just you and me"
"Yeah!, You and Me against the world"
"heh,yeah..Us against the world." Mark muttered,smiling to himself
"Thank you for offering me your window seat by the way"
"Not a problem book nerd, he said" ________________________________________
