GRIMOIRE:
A grimoire, or spell book, is a magical tome containing spells that the caster can perform. Each grimoire has a special center section that provides detailed information about its holder. This includes the holder's name, age, land details, belt ranking, type of magic used, and personal goals.
A spell book is organized into ten parts, each representing a level of proficiency. As a person gains experience and strength, they qualify to access the next division of the book. Each division contains more advanced spells than the previous one, and a caster cannot use the spells of an advanced division until they qualify for it.
If a caster uses more than one type of magic, the book's width increases, and each type of magic will have ten divisions. The caster must qualify separately for each type of magic to access its advanced spells. Upon qualifying for a new division, the grimoire must be updated to reflect the holder's current details and qualifications.
BELT RANKS:
Belt ranks are an assessment or judgment of a caster's powers and abilities, automatically determined by the spell book (Grimoire). These ranks are specifically assigned to Sciro trainers and range from one to twenty-eight, with twenty-eight being the highest rank.
Belt ranks measure a trainer's strength, with rank one representing the initial stage. Although the ranking system extends up to twenty-eight, trainers rarely progress beyond the twelfth stage. In fact, the strongest wizard recorded in Arcaneum is at the twelfth rank, making it the latest and most powerful level achieved so far.
TYPES OF WIZARDS:
Most wizards typically specialize in only one type of magic, meaning their magic is composed of a single attribute. However, there are also wizards who possess more complex abilities, utilizing two, four, six, or even eight types of magic.
MAGIC TYPES:
Magic is categorized into two types: source magic and creation magic. Source magic is more challenging because the caster uses the attributes directly. In contrast, creation magic is the most common and easier to adapt to. Some source magics, such as candy magic, cotton magic, designer magic, and song magic, are relatively easy to adapt to. These magics can also be used as creation magic.
STABLE AND UNSTABLE MAGIC CASTERS:
Wizards who use one, two, four, six, or eight types of magic are considered stable magic casters. In contrast, those who use three, five, or seven types of magic are considered unstable. For unstable magic casters to achieve stability, they need to discover and harness their hidden magic attribute, allowing them to use an even number of magic types. Simply put, even-numbered types of magic are stable, while odd-numbered types are not.
SCIRO TRAINER:
A Sciro trainer is a wizard who uses magical creatures to compete in magical competitions. To qualify as a Sciro trainer, one must complete ten rounds of magic tests in each city they visit. Additionally, to qualify as a competitor, a wizard needs to have cast magic at least twenty times.
Although participating in Sciro battles is not mandatory, since each mage holds one Sciro card, a mage can choose to collect more than one Sciro card. To do this, Sciro cards can be acquired by battling opponents encountered during their journey. However, a mage who has taken the oath to be a Sciro trainer can only battle another mage who has taken the same oath.
The leaders of these Sciro trainers are known as Sciro masters. One can compete to become a Sciro master after proving themselves to be one of the strongest Sciro trainers.
SCIRO WARRIORS:
Sciro warriors are the protectors of Sciro trainers and their Sciros. The head of the Sciro warriors is called the Sciro knight. Sciro knights train and protect Sciro warriors, and they also safeguard other Sciro trainers and their Sciros.
To qualify as a Sciro warrior, one must possess special equipment magic and wear the warrior costume. Sciro warriors compete against each other in the grand stadium once a month. When a Sciro warrior becomes sufficiently qualified, they can compete with others for the title of Sciro knight.
SCIRO LEADERS:
Sciro leaders follow the same advancement process as Sciro warriors. However, Sciro leaders are exclusively responsible for the training of Sciros.
MAGE TRAINER:
Sciro trainers and Sciro masters are the initial qualifying levels on the path to becoming either a master mage or a mage trainer, depending on the individual's role.
A Mage Trainer aspires to become the best mage in the world. Sciros are used to channel magic through a living source. As a person becomes more proficient, they can eventually use advanced magic directly without needing Sciros.
A Mage Trainer becomes part of the council that defends the country from harm and evil.
MASTER MAGE:
A master mage is someone who attains the highest rank among magic trainers and advances to earn the title of magic mage. They battle against the best of the best to become the head of the council that leads all mage trainers. Each council can have only one master mage.
MAGE WARRIOR:
A Mage warrior is a member of the royal mage army of the country.
After achieving excellence and earning all 30 batches, a Sciro warrior can compete to become a Mage warrior.
A Mage warrior with a higher ranking is titled a mage knight, leading the entire mage army.
MAGE LEADER:
Mage leaders are responsible for training mage trainers.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Mages have a unique half-year schedule. All young mages are required to attend school for six months of the year, while the other six months are dedicated to journeying and working in their respective fields. The school day is divided into two parts: the first half is focused on general studies such as math, science, and other essential subjects, while the second half is devoted to magical studies. During their six months at school, the mages live on campus, fully immersed in both academic and magical training.
