Ines, a girl who is just as pure as her name. She is currently struggling with high school. Her main purpose is to graduate from it with good grades just to make her parents proud of her. She was in her last year of high school, aiming to get into a computer science major for university. Well, that's what her parents want her to do.

She pulled the chair and sat down on it. Putting the bundle of books on the table that she was holding before.
"You can do this." She whispered to herself as everyone else around her was busy studying. She took a breath and opened her book. She started from the first paragraph. As the time passed she was still in the library, studying. She turned on her phone to see the time and it showed,

7:30 pm

She got up from the chair to go back home. But as she glanced around she noticed that everyone was still studying. Not a single student had left since she came.

She wanted to go back home but no one was gonna be at home since her parents are always busy with their office work. She went toward the literature side and grabbed a book of her interest and sat down again on her previous spot. She opened the book but failed to focus as she was tired. From all the school work and the extras she just finished. She held up her phone to take a five-minute break. She opened the text box thinking someone might have texted her. But it was empty.
"It's not like I have friends to text me." She thought to her herself and rested her head on the table, sighing. She heard a vibrating tone and instantly picked up her phone to check what it is.

Mom
Your dad and I are going to dinner, we will be late
Get back home early and study well

She sighed and put her phone back. She wanted to live her life too. Just like everyone does, going to parties, doing sleepovers with friends, hanging out with them, having a friend to tell her everything that goes on with her. She wanted to experience it all.

But just for her family's reputation, she has to do it. Just like her father, she has to become something big too. Being a bookworm was something she hated the most. But that was something she was told to be since childhood as she has to be the 'good daughter' of her parents. And maybe that's why she didn't have any friends either. When her classmates would be hanging out she was told to stay at home and study. But she never went against her parents.
She had heard people saying that it feels awful when your best friend doesn't come to school but have they ever experienced walking the hallways of school alone? It feels like hell seeing other students walking in pairs, laughing at each other's jokes. And you are just sitting with empty chairs around you.
She had experienced it all and her school was hell since childhood.
The only different thing she experienced in her life was having a crush- but she gave up on it because she didn't want her title of being a good daughter to get ruined. He was one of the top students, Na Jaemin. But who would like a bookworm like her? He was the only one in school who had ever talked to her. But it was just for once. But she felt it all, the way he looked at her and listened to her. She eventually fell for him. She knew that it was something more than a crush but never admitted it. She wanted to forget about him but it wasn't easy when they were in the same class.
She once again sighed and got up from the chair. Putting the books back in their places which she had taken before, she grabbed her stuff and left for her home. She texted their family driver to pick her up. As she was standing in front of her school waiting for him to come. It was already past 9 and he was still not here. She called him and only got to know that there was some problem with the car. She hated cabs but now it was the only option as she began to look for a cab a car suddenly stopped in front of her. The windows of the car were black so she couldn't see who was inside. She took a step back as she was startled. But as the door of the driving seat opened a familiar figure came out of the car.

"Ines? What are you doing here?" He asked her

An unexpected smile formed on her face. He was still looking at her clueless waiting for her to reply.

"Um, I just stop by here to study."

He glanced at his wristwatch and looked back at her

"It's too late you should go back home now."

It felt so good that someone was here caring for her. But it didn't do anything good to her except for making her fall for him even more.

"I was heading back home but my driver can't come-

"I can give you a ride if you don't mind."
Her eyes widened at this. Na Jaemin was asking her to drop her at home. It felt like a dream to her. But... Going home with a boy, how would her parents react to it?
She didn't want to waste this chance. And her parents were not at home so they won't get to know about it.

"That would be a great pleasure."
