Felix knew the inside of the mayor's house would be huge but he didn't expect it to be so.. so clean. He expected papers and documents pilled up to the sky. Or maybe someone that cleans but there was no evidence of such things.
Henry took off his shoes and placed them near the front door. He motioned for Felix to do the same but the seventeen year old shook his head no. Why would he waste his time to get his shoes on while dragging an unconscious a hundred and twenty pound woman out the door.
~~~~~
"So why'd you come over tonight, Felix?" Regina asked as she cut her lasagna.
Felix took a sip of his water, thinking of a quick lie before Henry could respond to his mother.
"Henry invited me over, I wouldn't have come if I had something to do."
Regina checked her watch and Felix could tell he was running out of time for the mission. Good thing he was an excellent liar.
"I can help you with the dishes Miss Mills. I have nothing to do tonight and I don't sleep till later."
The mayor looked up with a little bit of surprise hinted in her eyes.
"Alright, Henry get ready for bed."
~~~~~
Felix finished the dishes and turned around to see Regina pouring herself a small glass of apple whiskey. This'll be easier than he thought..
He only needed a minute alone with the drink to pour and stir in the ketamine. If only—
"Mom! Have you seen my book?" Henry yelled down the stairs which got Regina away from the drink.
'This'll have to be quick..'
Regina groaned and started to walk up the stairs, Felix was already putting on gloves and searching for the silverware drawer, which was the third one he opened, luckily.
Felix grabbed the small plastic bag that was in the pocket of his suit. It wasn't too much but it was enough powder to knock out Regina.
He rushed over to the glass, opened the bag and poured in the drug. Quietly but swiftly he stirred it and from upstairs Felix heard Regina's voice becoming less faint.
The whiskey had seemed to look the same so he stuffed the bag and spoon in his pocket and sat down on the couch. He only had to wait for the mayor.
~~~~~
Regina came down and sat across from Felix and sipping her drink slowly.
Within the next fifteen minutes, Felix saw the effects of the drug kick in. He smirked as he saw Regina's face go pale.
"You... you... drugged.. me? S..shit! I-" Regina squinted her eyes as the dirty blond got up from his seat.
Regina's eyes started to droop as she looked up at Felix's tall figure staring over her. But she tried to keep her eyes open. Felix's lips were still tugged in a small smirk.
"I hope you said goodnight to your boy Miss Mills."
That's when the mayor slumped over with her eyes fully closed, she was passed out. Felix's eyes flickered over to the top of the stairs to see if Henry was up and about.
Thankfully not.
Felix picked Regina up bridal style and started to carry her to the front door. It took him a few minutes to remember where it was.
Within five minutes Felix was outside at his car, he gently put Regina down next to the passenger's car door so he could unlock with his keys. Once he heard the quiet chirp Felix opened the door.
The dirty blond scooped up Regina and sat her in the seat. He buckled her in and slammed the door shut, his eyes flickered to his wrist watch only now noticing how late it was. He went around to the driver's side and got in.
After about ninety minutes of driving, Felix heard a small groan escape from Regina's lips. She's waking up?
Felix looked at her from the corner of his eye, Regina still seemed a little out of it.
"Regina, can you understand me? Nod if you can." Felix muttered, taking one of his hands of the steering wheel to rub his eyes.
"Is.. Henry.. is Henry safe..?" Regina croaked, her eyes looking blank as she stared at Felix.
"He's fine," Felix paused, thinking on what to say next, "I'm going to need you to listen to me alright? Or else that son of yours is going to get hurt."
Regina nodded, her facial expression seemed distressed.
"A group from one of my rival gangs is outside where I'm taking you. Zoso seemed to think I trusted him but after I killed Jackel, the person you witnessed me murder, I quickly figured out Zoso was the traitor."
"But—"
Felix shushed her and started to talk again.
"When he called me earlier today it finally added up. He would never call me to give me a new target, but anyways, another thing I need for you to do is listen to my directions or else we're both going to be dead." Felix's gaze was icy.
Felix and Regina were thirty minutes deep into the woods. Both stayed quiet, mainly not knowing what to say to each other, or it could've been that Felix was holding his sniper rifle in his hand.
"I'm gonna need you to stay behind me Regina. Don't go anywhere and for fucks sake do not make a sound." Felix growled out the command in a low voice.
The dirty blond bent down onto one knee and started to set up his rifle, his veins started to pump adrenaline giving some energy.
After he finished setting up his station, Felix peaked through the scope and saw his first target.
BAM
The first one was down and Felix noticed how only a little amount of people were actually guarding the place.
The second thing he noticed was odd, they weren't moving. Felix looked closer and.. they didn't seem to even be breathing..
"Shit," Felix swore under his breath as he swiftly got up, "Regina run. Don't look back."
He wasn't able to check if she followed his command before darkness took over.
Felix found himself tied to a chair with non other than Peter Pan looking down at him.
